The Writer’s Case

Devotion reads…

On August 3, 2018 (Friday) at 8:10 am, my devotion reads from Ezekiel 9:2-3 from New Living Translation (NLT) that reads:

 

“Six men soon appeared from the upper gate that faces north, each carrying deadly weapon in his hand. With them as a man dressed in linen, who carried a writer’s case at his side. They all went into the Temple courtyard and stood before the bronze altar. Then the glory of the God of Israel rose up from between the cherubim , where it had rested. And the Lord called the man who dressed in linen who was carrying the writer’s case.”

 


Take note that I underlined those terms that I’ve found very interesting. After reading the whole chapter, I have no doubt in my heart that it pertain God’s judgment to the nation of Israel. In fact, the slaughter begun from the Temple when the man who dressed in linen and had “writer’s case” who instructed to the 6 men , “Begin at my holy place,” (Ezekiel 9:6/ ISV ). And the killings has been made first to the priests. How much more when God’s wrath is against the ordinary people of Israel or the Philippines for example? That’s how angry was because the temple was desecrated and offered to Tammuz, the Babylonian god of food and vegetation. And the priests or pastors have not discharged their divine calling properly according to God’s standard. Like the Philippines that resulting to over 27,000 innocent blood from the drug-suspects (the non-reported included) in the War against Drugs by the present administration without “due process of the law” as lamented by civil society so God charged Israel, “The land is filled with blood, and the city overflows with injustice,” (Ezek. 9:9/ ISV).

 

Will a writer’s case is being set before this nation in the form of divine legislation?

 

 

This “Writer’s Case” on August 3 is very much similar to my Daily Devotion which is entitled, “Writing down” in Revelation 21:5-7/ NLT on my quiet time last June 4, 2018 (Monday) at 4:00 a.m. Both title denotes “writing, legislation, promulgation of law, saying or prophesies.”

 

 

I first presumed that the writer’s case is merely for the writing but writer’s case in KJV refers to inkhorn which suggests that a bountiful reserve of ink is important tool for writing and printing. It simply suggested that the man as God’s writer has pretty much plenty of things to say or to decree. The same thing goes with a man which great reservoir of prophetic insight and utterances to direct if not to warn a nation.

 

 

 

Remnants and Sifting

That very morning, I hopped in my car and drove Rosales to San Fernando Pampanga in just 1 hour and 10 minutes. I arrived there for a meeting at 10:20 a.m. where I met some provincial and regional coordinators. The meeting was hosted by a Manila –based Christian movement that serves as a covering of over 5,000 evangelical churches nationwide.

 

In that meeting the most prominent key words are “remnant” and “sifting.”

 

The Quezon City based-pastor said, “Where are the remnants, can you identity them? This is sifting.”


When this pastor said that the word “remnant“ another word immediately came to my mind no less than the word “To him that overcometh” which has been addressed to the 7 Churches of Asia in the End-Time which can be found in Revelation 2:7, 11, 17, 26 and Revelation 3:5, 12, 21.


These Seven Churches are Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamos, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea

 

“Overcometh” refers to the Greek goddess of victory, Nikao or Nike in English which literally means “to conquer, to carry off the victory; to hold fast their faith even unto death against the power of their foes and temptations and persecutions; to win the case; to maintain one’s cause,” according to Thayer.

 

Only the remnants prevail despite of sifting made to the church as Christ branded them one by one as a Church who is…

  1. Unfaithful Love Church of Ephesus (1:4)

  2. Living Church of Smyrna (1:8)

  3. Church of Satan of Pergamos (1:13)

  4. Jezebel Church of Thyatira (1:20). Thyatira is very strong in familiar spirit and witchcraft.

  5. The Church of the Living Dead or Zombie Church of Sardis (3:1)

  6. Church of Love of Philadelphia (3:7). Philadelphia means “brotherly love.”

  7. Compromising Church of Laodicea ( 3:15). It is a church who is neither hot nor cold.

 

 

Definition of Terms

The word “writer’s case” in KJV reads as “writer’s inkhorn.” In simpler term today it means a penholder with an inkholder.

 

  • Writer “saphar” i.e. To count, recount, relate, to number, to reckon, enumerator, muster-officer, secretary, learned man, scribe, writer; to score with a mark as a tally or record.

 

  • Inkhorn “qeseth” (keh-seth) i.e. pot (for ink); inkhorn, inkwell, a cup, an ink stand.

  • Bronze (the color of the altar). What bronze as a color represents for?

 

God created the seven coloured-coded bow or rainbow for a purpose as a covenant (Genesis 9:13). The scientific and medical word “spectrum” came from this God-covenant to “differentiate various opinions” according to its colour-coded scheme which is necessary what to process and store in our brain. This spectrum is connected from the eye closed to the brain which is a part of the head.

The writing

From the very beginning in the Garden of Eden and on to this present day, the greatest effort has gone forth to change, alter, water down and destroy God’s Word or the Writings of God.

 

In Genesis 3:1-4, it reads, “Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made.”

 

What is the serpent is doing right there in the Garden of Eden? Why the serpent perverted the word of God to Eve? Why the Pentateuch and the rest of holy writings were written and for what purpose?

 

There are plenty of answers why the Word of God were written for us. Few of them are in 1 Corinthians 10:6 “as examples”; Ephesians 4:11-13 “for equipping, for building unity; for maturity”; 2 Timothy 3:16-17 “doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction and for perfection or maturity”. The Holy Writings were made by holy men of God inspired (Greek theopneustos i.e. God’s breathed) by the Spirit as it says in 1 Peter 1:20-21).

 

 

The writer

God has chosen a special group of people to receive, record, and preserve His Word, the Hebrew Sofer, a counter of Letters. They are the so-called scribes

 

Writer in Hebrew is called “sofer.” Literally sofer means is the “one who counts letters.” In English sofer is a scribe, recorder or secretary.

 

.

 

In the New Testament, God has provided us ministry gifts that can expound the Word of God with great clarity, understanding and illumination. Ephesians 4:11, “And it is he who gifted some to be apostles, others to be prophets, others to be evangelists, and still others to be pastors and teachers.” These Five-fold Ministry Gifts were given to the Church for “check-and-balances.” One cannot stand without the other.

 

“Teachers” from the Greek “didaskalos” means “a teacher” or one who teaches concering the things of God and duties of man” and this includes false teachers according to Thayer.

 

False teachers is mentioned by Peter (2 Peter 2:1). Paul forewarned us with these words, “but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ, “ (Galatians 1:7). When the hardness of the Jewish-Christians manifested hard-headedness like men of steel, Paul lamented in despair saying, “O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you.”

 

Bewitch in Greek “baskaino” means “to malign, to speak ill of one, to slander; an evil eye, to bring evil on one by feigning praise; to charm, to bewitch.”

 

 

Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)

The Hebrews has this operating standard procedures to preserve the integrity of Pentateuch or Torah and that is the Sofer & Law of Soferim.

 

The word STaM is an acronym for the laws of writing in Biblical Hebrew Manuscripts. The letters of STaM (Soferim) refer to someone who is certified to write because he writes down the Torah according to the kosher (sacred) strict standard.

 

STaM (remember that Hebrew writings has no vowel) is an acronum, of Sefer, Tfillin, Mezuzah and Sefer Scroll which is the “laws of writing” or “kosher strict standard” while Sofer is a scribe.

 

A person who has been certified STaM is authorized to write Scrolls called sofer.

 

It generally takes one year to write a Torah (or a scroll). On an average each Torah will have 245 columns with 42 lines each with a consistent total 304,805 letters from Genesis to Deuteronomy.

 

A sofer must work out for one sheet per week that is 52 sheets per Sefer Torah with one column per day, six lines per hour, and 3 letters per minute.

 

It you notice, the Sefer Torah is being written down letter by letter, word by word and line by line according to the Jewish tradition which exactly describes by the Scriptures that says:

 

“For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little,” - Isaiah 28:10

 

 

The Sefer Torah or Pentateuch i.e. from Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Number, Deuteronomy, it contained a total of 304,805 numbers of consonants. There is no vowel sounds in the Hebrew alphabet. A sofer (scribe, writer) should count each letter should they start from beginning of the Genesis or from the beginning of Deuteronomy and it must arrive at the centre of the Sefer that will describe the word “belly” in Numbers 11:42 which is numbered 152,402.50 that says,

“You are not to eat anything that crawls on its belly, anything that walks on four legs, anything that has many legs, and all the swarming creatures that swarm the land, because they're detestable.”

 

Why it should be counted or written that way? In order to ensure accuracy, reliability and truthfulness. The entire Sefer (Torah) should be in complete harmony with the other books.

 

 

Sefer Torah or Pentateuch contains

The 304,805 Hebrew lettered-Sefer Torah have been copied countless times each century in Jewish communities throughout the world using the same procedure called Soferim applying STaM that has virtually error free .00004 in worldwide agreement. They are only six letters in question (no vowels). The .00004 percentage of probability of error is considered “perfect” according to the experts. A kosher (halakah) Torah scroll will cost between $30,000 and $50,000 each.

 

 

A scribe qualification

A sofer’s qualifications to become a scribe is that he must be religiously observant, of good character, and knowledgeable about the laws concerning Sofrut.

 

 

Learned man

A scribe or secretary is also a learned man according to Hebrew word of “writer” in Hebrew
word, “saphar “ in Ezekiel 9:2-3.

 

How learned the present pastors, teachers, ministers and bishops today in the way they read, study, interpret and apply the Scriptures?

 

If the scribe (sofer) can apply the methodology of soferim to draw 100% accuracy of the Scriptures interpretation, how Christians today can get the same accuracy of the truth? Then why many Evangelicals today are turning to the other gospel like the “Gospel of Duterte?”

 

Like the Sofer, Sefer Torah and Soferim, the Lord God gave us the ministry of a teacher to ensure authenticity of bible interpretation in 2 Timothy 2:15 says, “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”

 

 

The linen

  • April 30, 2018 when the “white linen” struck me hard during my devotion and put a title there as “The Righteous War” inspired from Revelation 19:11-14).

  • May 5, the Sunday preaching “White Linen “ was re-written as “The Lady in Red.” Why?

  • May 29, I saw a vision that I was completely bare and naked but white linen was placed all over me to cover my shame.

  • June 2, I had this as my Daily Devotion that reads: that says: “Take note. I will come unexpectedly like a thief! Blessed are all who are watching for me, who keep their robes ready so they will not need to walked naked and ashamed.” (Revelation 16:15).

  • August 3, just this recent Friday when Ezekiel 9:2-3 about “man dressed in linen” came up

 

 

Linen Defined

Linen or white linen in 2 Chronicles 5:12 is the Hebrew word “buts” (boots) refers to the “costly, fine white linen cloth made in Egypt; meaning to bleach i.e. to be white; probably of cotton of some sort” according to Strong Bible Dictionary.

 

Linen is God’s prescribed robes for the Levites and priests or a kingly garment (Genesis 41:42; Esther 8:15). In Exodus 25:4, 8, linen is being used for the Tabernacle. Linen therefore is a holy garment and holy apparel and it denotes nobility.

 

The robe is the righteousness of Christ. The robe in Greek “stole” (sto-ay) is a special loose garment for men extending to the feet that is being worn by priests, kings and people of rank like the saints, or martyred saints or the tribulation-saints (Rev. 6:11; 7:9,13, 14).

 

Without the prescribed kind of garment on a certain occasion, Christ warned us that we may be thrown into hell as divine judgment (Matthew 22:12-13).

 

 

It is ironic that the priests who supposedly ministers to God to atone people’s sins when they themselves sinned. Who then will atone for our sins if the priests or the Church sinner herself?

 

White linen is only the prescribed type of robe or clothes under Mosaic Law for the priests. (Rev. 15:6; 19:8; 14; 1 Peter 2:9). Only those who are wearing linen shall be saved.

 

 

Bronze Altar

When I was reading Ezekiel 9 it is obviously speaks of God’s judgment to idolatrous Israel. The same principle applies when the Church in the Philippines will succumb to idolatry. Ironically, bronze is a symbolic meaning of judgment in the Bible.

 

Ezekiel 9:2/ NLT, “ …With them was a man dressed in linen, who carried a writer’s case at his side. They all went into the Temple courtyard and stood beside the bronze altar.”

 

Bronze or brass or copper has something to do with the serpent. Copper is steel which is a symbol of hardness as an iron.

Philippines ranks 4th as world top producer of copper or bronze.

 

Philippines is located in the Pacific Ring of Fire, prolific in copper and gold deposits and hosts several of the world's largest copper/gold mines, including the Grasberg and OK Ted mines. During my first constitutional argument on Bangsamoro Basic Law (BBL) on November 30, 2014 at UP Diliman on “BBL Forum” before Secretary of Presidential Peace Process Secretary Miriam Colonel-Ferrer, then Senator Bong Bong Marcos (committee head of Local Government Code); Prospero de Vera, Vice President of UP Q.C., DFA Secretary and two foreign diplomats from United Kingdom and Indonesia, hundreds of Muslims brethren including their chieftains and other 2,000 people then – I questioned the constitutionally of BBL now BOL regarding its intrusion not only against territorial integrity but patrimony of the nation.


Patrimony refers to the wealth and inheritance of the whole Philippines and this includes the marine life, oil and mineral deposits and so forth.

 

The bill demands over 60% of mineral deposits from Mindanao shall be given to the proponents of BBL. And Muslim comprises only 5% of the total 110 –Million Filipinos where 85% of them are Catholics.


Sources says that over 60-70 % of the mineral deposits can be found in the island of Mindanao which means shall BBL or BOL will be signed as a law, Luzon and Visayas will be left behind in terms of patrimony or wealth of the nation.

 

In other words, BBL or BOL is not merely religious and political but it is also economic. Whenever you have the gold, you can also hold the government.

That is very true from the time of Abraham, Hebrews, Christianity – Islamic or Ottoman Empire – Crusaders – Europe invading America and displacing the Indians or English men from UK invading Australia and displacing the aborigines. The same will come true to BBL against the Filipinos.

 

It is not coincidence that my devotion last August 3 is in Ezekiel 9:2-3 that speaks of “bronze altar.” Bronze is also called iron or steel. And superman is called a man of steel (which I will probably write another story later).

 

The discovery of bronze or iron as the world’s hardest metal gave birth to a new period of civilization or era called Bronze Age in the middle of 4th BC to 2nd BC.

 

Bronze is associated with Poseidon & Zeus, 460 BC according to Greek National Archaeology.

 

Since BBL or BOL is not merely religious, political or economic as well, it is soon might deplete the national treasury and it will be given on a silver platter to a few people’s group known as BOL or Bangsamoro (take note of its statehood as a religious group) Organic Law.

 

This BBL or BOL that has been metamorphosed from MOA-AD ( memorandum of agreement on ancestral domain) between the government and the alleged Muslim rebel group, MILF was declared in 2008 as unconstitutional by the Supreme Court between the watch of then President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo and AFP Chief Hermogenes Esperon.

 

The BBL or BOL today have the same political players as well with GMA as the new House Speaker and H. Esperon as the President’s top cabinet member. Would that be the same story or Santayana is right that we never learned from History?

 

 

“So far, the national government initially has P72 billion for the proposed P110-billion BOL according to Andaya. “It’s all up to the inter-governmental mechanism under the BOL, and the experts can also fix that, and on how it will be reflected in the 2019 General Appropriations Act,” the House official stressed. Of the initial amount, P32 billion represents allocation for ARMM, P25 billion sourced from revenues generated by Internal Revenue Allotments and the P15 billion from national government agencies” as reported by Alexis Romero, Philippine Star dated August 7, 2018.


Where will this budget coming from but from 85% Catholics and 10% Evangelicals including the backslidden Christians that will pump in billions of pesos to a state-religious people group legislated by the Congress and Senate and signed by the President, a blatant violation of “separation of the state and the church” and gross disadvantage to the majority of Filipinos to deprive them of the national treasure of the Philippines like the gold in Diwalwal, Davao that ranks Philippines as the No. 1 Gold Producer in Asia that will be soon under the hands of the few once Federal form of government will be approved.

 

 

Since BBL or BOL has something to do with the gold, copper and other mineral deposits, will this serve also as a “rod of iron” against us like Superman, a man of steel in terms of our hard-headedness against God? (Psalm 21:8-9; Revelation 2:27)

 

 

 

 

Significance of the Copper Altar

The brazen altar is s part of Tabernacle Sacrifices in the likes of Menorah, table of shewbread, laver and others is necessary for the Atonement.

 

The word atonement carries with it the idea of the just, holy, righteous side of God's nature being satisfied. God's law required death as the penalty for sin. When God saw the death of the innocent sacrifice, he was satisfied that the demands of his law had been carried out. Sacrificing an animal on an altar did not take away the sin. Man was still sinful. The sacrifice only pictured what was necessary for sin to be forgiven—death and shedding of blood. BBL and the Gold

Is it Federalism is a legitimate looting of the treasures of the Philippines by the virtue of so –called BOL or BBL, Federalism and Charter –Change?

 

Philippines is “Trillion-Dollar Philippine Economic Goldmine Emerging From Murky Pit” as reported by Ralph Jennings of Forbes dated April 5, 2015. It his article, Jenning said that the

“Philippines holds the world’s second largest gold reserves.”

 

 

 

BBL, the Gold, Hades & Islam’s Ishtar

The word “Pluto” is called “hell” by Jesus Christ in Matthew 16:18 which presently located at Heliopolis near Laodicea and Colossae in Asia Minor where we personally visited last June 2017.

 

Matthew 16:18 writes that the god of the underworld (nether)or the realm of the dead is a Greek name called “Orcus.” It also refers “Pluto” the god of the lower regions which is synonymous to grave, death and hell. Isthar is called “hades” or “the place of departed soul” in Greek.





Ishtar, is the goddess of the underworld or lower world according to Library of Alexandria. Ishtar is associated with Al-lat among Islamic faith (Visit www.clsrrosale.com CLICK “Ares, god of war.”



Is Ishtar associated with BBL or BOL, Murad and Iqbal and MILF, Philippine Congress and Senate, President Duterte and Hades or Hell?





Hades, Gold and BBL

Surprising, Hades the Greek god of the Dead and King of the Underworld.. And since Hades have dominion that lies between secret places of the earth, according to the Odyssey, he knows where the treasures underneath, Hades is also called, God of Wealth or “the rich one” because he possessed the precious metals of the earth. Hades is described by some sources as the god of the earth’s fertility. 

The gold or the minerals underneath is under the control of the enemy. Satan tempted Christ to worship him in exchange of the world’s glory, splendour and wealth in Matthew 4: 8-9.

 

Is the prince of the underworld Hades is simply manifesting on the physical realm in the form of greed for gold or minerals with the legal personality of BBL?

 

 

Brazen and Altar

While bronze speaks wealth and hardness (as a metal or iron) it also means filthiness or garbage filth in Hebrew term. While the word “altar” means “to slay” or “to slaughter”. It derived from Latin word “alta” or “high.” Altar in Hebrew “zabach” (zaw-bakh) means “slaughter for sacrifice” or “to slaughter” meanwhile a copper or bronze means “a divine judgment.” And this judgment begins from the House of God.

 

The brazen altar or bronze altar or altar of sacrifice was situated right inside the courtyard upon entering the gate to the tabernacle. In fact, the killing has been made inside the Temple, slaying was first made against the priests before the people on the streets. The same principle applies today to the Church or elsewhere that says:

 

“For the time has come for judgment to begin with the household of God. And if it begins with us, what will be the outcome for those who refuse to obey the gospel of God? ” - 1 Peter 4:7

 

 

Is it possible that the victims of EJK’s of over 22,000 according to PNP report or over 27,000 including unreported cases is itself God’s judgment to the Philippines? And our cussing President is itself a judgment to the Church?

 

The Scripture do not lie. It says, “Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people,” (Proverbs 14:34).

 

And another confirmation is this “ and is full of blood, and the city full of perverseness,” (Ezekiel 9:9/ KJV).

 

Is perversity also speaks of former House Speaker’s authored demonic bills like same –sex marriage i.e. HB 6595, Civil Partnership; Dissolution of Marriage; BBL or BOL, Federalism, Cha-Cha, among others that caused his expulsion as a House Speaker and the destruction of his super majority political party? Possible!


Is BBL or BOL is a perversion to the Scriptures that “ Thou shall not make other foreign God before Me” ?

 

 

Copper altar, remnants, sifting and the Church

On that very say of August 3 when I had Ezekiel 9:2-3 as my devotion on “copper altar” at 8am. While the word remnants and sifting are the words that confront the Church today since the controversial “God is stupid” was made by President Duterte that alarmed the Catholics and the Evangelicals.

 

PCEC, PJM and IFP have given their separate statements on the said presidential cussing and the latter have given the most hard-hitting sword against the president resulting to the massive withdrawal of many evangelical churches from a certain Manila-based Christian group.

 

 

Tipping Point

“God as stupid” served as tipping point of the Church when separation should begins. For gold or copper

 

Separation is necessary for the Feast of Atonement. That is when God separates the goat from the sheep, and the tares from the wheat. We also call that Sanctification in preparation for the Wedding of the Bride and Christ which we called Feast of Tabernacle.

 

 

 

The Seven Feasts

The Seven Feasts of the Lord mark critical eras or thresholds of the Coming of the Lord. Of all these Feasts: four (4) have been fulfilled which are as follows: The Passover Feast, The Feast of Unleavened Bread; the Feast of the First Fruit i.e. Resurrection and the Feast of Pentecost (Leviticus 23).

Three (3) remaining Feasts are yet to come and needed to complete for the Second Coming and these feasts are the Feast of the Trumpets i.e. re-gathering, the Feast of the Atonement i.e. Sanctification and Separation and the Feast of the Trumpet which commemorates the Marriage of the Lamb.


Where are we now out from the Feasts as a Period of Time? Are we now being sanctified as Church in the Philippines, are we being sanctified as a nation whether we are a sheep nation or a goat nation?

On August 3 as reported by Inquirer, Mindanao, President Duterte said:

“ P**** (son of a bitch) I will shoot you right there. You do not do that in my country. They render our cops inutile… because of human rights. P***** ka (Son of a bitch). You enjoy your human rights there in heaven,” the President said. Duterte claimed he talked to God and got His blessing to eliminate drug offenders.

 

“God promised you that all (victims of) extrajudicial killings will go to heaven. That’s what I asked from God. And God replied: ‘They can be’,” he said. “Will I do that if I don’t have any guarantee? They are pitiful…P*** i*** (Son of a bitch), if they do drugs and then they will rot in hell.”

“I said, ‘God, pagbigyan mo nalang ‘yan. Ako, wala akong hingiin sa akin (God, give them a favor. As for me, I am not asking for anything). Reserve the hottest place in hell for me. And may I burn until eternity’. Kung may (If there is) hell,”

 

Branding a church

You need to process a raw material to put it into a specific line of brand and package it in a way that will attract the market’s consumers.

 

That is how former Mayor Duterte was packaged by a former priest-turned NPA rebel Leoncio Evasco. He is the campaign manager of DU30 during the presidential campaign.

The same thing goes with Ezekiel 9:2-3 concerning the brazen altar. Brazen is a metal, a copper that needs to be processed in what they call metallurgical smelting (1543) from a German word ‘smelten” i.e. refining.

 

The same thing goes with the church today. The Duterte Administration is a smelting process that brand a church to find its real value as a proof of authenticity for the consuming market.

The ministers and the church I have had admired before simply plunged into the deep of uncertainty to where they should truly stand on certain social issues that the Scriptures have already clearly provided a very simple and direct answers. .

 

These social issues and controversies that haunts the president from Sen. Leila de lima’s imprisonment, ousting of Comelec Andy Bautista, the quo warranto of former SJ Ma. Lourdes Sereno, the War on Drugs, the EJK’s, Presidential son Baste’s involvement with P6-B shabu shipment, the cussing and cursing of the international community including the United Nations, the West Philippine Sea territorial disputes, China bilateral relationship despite of her encroaching and militarizing our reef and shoals and islets; the dismissal of Associate Ombudsman Carangdang, the controversial cussing against God as “stupid”, the SOGIE Bill, the same-sex marriage or Civil Partnership under HB 6595, the Dissolution of Marriage, BBL or BOL, Federalism, Cha-Cha and other dubious legislations and many more is processing the Church today to where she stands, whether the Church is standing on a solid rock (Christ and His Word) or in a quicksand (Matthew 7:21-27).

 

 

Hissing Church

Like the serpent that hiss, a church can be like that as well.

 

That is why the people of God, the priests or Pharisees were branded then by Christ as “hypocrites” or “ generation of vipers,” (Matthew 6:2; 22:18; 23:13; 3:7; 12:34) The priests of God who follows the Mosaic Law and religiously observe Feasts of the Lord, the customs and traditions were processed that way for many centuries but Jesus branded them “snakes” or “hypocrites.”

 

How about the Evangelical Church today? What brand do we have now? Are we for Christ or Anti-Christ?

 

And Jesus pointed out that the solid evidence to know a real Church to a camouflaged church is by its end-results. “Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them,” (Matthew 7:20).

 

 

Church in a process for branding
The process of smelting/ refining the Church is crucial to find its proof of authenticity as a part of cleansing process in line with the Feast of Atonement which is purification.

 

Queen Esther underwent through a process physically until came the evil plot of Haman to annihilate all the Jews that processed her in terms of her moral and political ground.

 

In the Hebrew culture, the sofirem (STam) is therefore the sofer or writer’s canonical process of writing the Sefer Torah to ensure branding of proof of authenticity.


The controversial issue that haunts the nation today is processing the Church now to present it to the Lord the Groom its brand as proof of originality.

 

So I don’t mind seeing evangelical bishops, pastors, leaders or other Christians jumping to another ship or embracing other gospel or creeping in to the Church of Duterte as the dear president always talks about it in jest or seriously inside of him.


This is the time of sifting, a time of separation and sanctification, a process that must be undertaken to refine the Church.

 

We must therefore pray for the “remnant. “ Whichone would you prefer, the main player or the remnant?

 

 

Re-making of a Church

President Duterte including the controversies that haunts him today serves as a processing mechanism to consolidate and to re-make the Church for a specific brand.

 

In the same way raw materials must be processed for a specific kind of product known as brand then package it to attract the market. This is a free-country anyway.

 

So the President and his administration is a processing tool to brand our church today.

 

Processing is need in manufacturing as well in mining (metallurgy to be specific like refining alloy or gold. Only when certain material is already processed when you can brand it. Processing, branding and packaging are necessary attract the market or consumers. This true especially when you are introducing a new line of product. The same is true to a person, public official or a church.

 

 

 

The remnants and despicables

What is a remnant? Remnants are those that are left behind after the sifting. In our IFP Provincial Prayer Meeting on August 7, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in Dagupan City, these words came :

 

“and I, even I only, am left, and they seek my life, to take it away,” (1 Kings 19:10/ ISV)

 

The word “left” in Hebrew “yathar (yw-thar)” i.e. “to be left over, remain, remainder, or residue.” Normally the leftover are being thrown away which only fits to the garbage can. Paul mentioned something on this “leftover.” He called it filth.

 

Paul as an apostle branded himself a filth. 1 Corinthians 4:13 ( ISV) says:

 

“We are made as a filth of the world,”

 

Filth” in Greek “ perikatharma “ refers to the “refuse, despicable men, victims (Greek katharmata”); made criminals for public expense, refuse, cleaned off “ (Source: Thayer and Strong).

 

Despicables are those who are “deserving to be despised” (Webster). It derived from Latin word despicari which means “cheap, deplorable, contemmtibel, dirty, lame, lousy, nasty, mean, , scurvy; pitiful, sorry, wretched.” Apostle Paul called himself “wretched man” in Romans 7:24.

 

So we cannot simply despised these “remnants” or “despicables” who are not with the Church of the Other Gospel or those who puts their trust on men or politicians and who believe in the words of men like the priests in Ezekiel chapter 9 who worship Tammuz, the god of vegetation.

.

Gideon is despicable man. Yet God called him despite of the fact that he is weak and coward. Yet an angel who appeared to him called him “thou man of valor.”

 

The word “ left” or “leftover” in Hebrew (1 Kings 19:10) also means “ rest, preserve , excel.” Normally, the seedlings are leftover or reserved which is being set aside for re-planting. So those “remnants” are “reserved” by God.

 

The despised is called and a chosen vessel of God. Despise in Greek “exoutheneo” means “contemptible, despised, least esteemed, set at nought.”

 

“ But God hath chosen …. base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are; That no flesh should glory in his presence, “ – 1 Corinthians 1:27-29

 

 

 

Sifting and the remnants

Sifting for me is like subduction.

 

A subduction zone is a collision between two of Earth's tectonic plates, where one plate sinks

into the mantle underneath the other plate. The Pacific which includes Japan and the Philippines is in the middle of the “Ring of Fire”. Vasily Titov, director of National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's Center for Tsunami Research in Seattle, Washington said, “The size of an earthquake is related to the size of the fault .” Where the volcano is where its strongest, it is also where the treasure is.

 

“Look for the remnants,” this pastor said last August 3.

 

REMNANTS can be found in the Seven Churches of Asia, the “residue” from the Church of Satan; Church of Jezebel; Church of the Dead. They are being called, “he who conquers – the only residues who can listen from God and obey Him.”

 

Remnants because the “Tipping Point” is when IFP published its “POSITION PAPER” on President’s rants as God as “stupid!”.

 

The word “conquer” or “endure” or “remains” refers to Nikao, the Greek god of victory,Nike in English in Revelation chapters 2 and 3. Kuya Ed said, “It is a SIFTING SEASON..

 

 

 

 

The fence –sitters

Is he who supports the other gospel shall be partaker of the judgment of God that contained on the scroll or prophesy?

 

 

The white scroll

During that August 3, 2018 prayer meeting, 10:20 a.m. one committed lady intercessor shared this to us

 

“While worshipping the Lord, it was strange to me like as a bastonera girl suddenly it became a 6 feet Angel Gabriel who came with a white scroll in inabot sa inyo. He was like in a fully geared warrior particularly I saw his shoes like a Roman soldier. “

 

The word “white” in Greek “leukaino” i.e. “ to whiten, to make white.” It came from the root word “leukos” (lyoo-kosw) i.e. light, bright, brilliant, dazzling white (of the garments of angels and of those exalted to the splendor of heavenly state; shining or white garments worn on festive or state occasions; signs of innocence and purity of soul “ according to Thayer Definition.. (Rev. 7:14, 20:11)

 

 

  • White means “ Bride of Christ, surrender, harvest, light, righteousness, conquest, victory, blessedness, Joy, Angels, saints, peace, completion, triumph.”

 

The lady –intercessor said, “God has given you a white sheet, a sort of a writing pad for you to write. While seeing that vision it reminds me what it says in Psalm 45:1/ Amp that says “My tongue is like the pen of a skilful writer.”

 

The question is what shall I write – life or death, blessing or a curse, defeat or triumph, victory or judgment?

 

We only write like that with a writer’s case when God tells us what to write and to whom?

When God gives you a word, a revelation, or prophesy, it is as good as divine legislation that will shake the heavens and the earth. With your pen as the Lord leads you can make you a skilful writer that what you say will happen. Your word can become flesh (John 1:1, 14).

A scribe qualification

A sofer’s qualifications to become a scribe is that he must be religiously observant, of good character, and knowledgeable about the laws concerning Sofrut. 2 Timothy 2:15 says, “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”

 

 

 

Learned man

A scribe or secretary is also a learned man according to Hebrew word of “writer” in Hebrew
saphar (Ezekiel 9:2-3)

 

How learned the present pastors, teachers, ministers and bishops in the way they read, study, interpret and apply the Scriptures?

 

If the scribe (sofer) can apply the methodology of soferim to draw 100% accuracy of the Scriptures interpretation, how Christians today can get the same accuracy of the truth? Then why many Evangelicals today are turning to the other gospel like the “Gospel of Duterte?”

 

 

 

Sofrut

Sofrut is Sofer, Sopher, Sofer SeTaM, or Sofer ST"M (Heb: "scribe", (female: soferet) is a Jewish scribe who can transcribe sifrei Torah, tefillin, and mezuzot, and other religious writings.

 

 

Bronze Age

Bronze is an alloy consisting primarily of copper, commonly with about 12% tin and often with the addition of other metals and sometimes non-metals or metalloids such as arsenic, phosphorus or silicon. The archeological period where bronze was the hardest metal in widespread use is known

as the Bronze Age. The beginning of the Bronze Age in western Eurasia and south Asia is conventionally dated to the mid-4th millennium BC, and to the early 2nd millennium BC in China (Robert L. Thorp, 2013).

 

 

Brazen Altar

The brazen altar, bronze altar, or altar of sacrifice was situated right inside the courtyard upon entering the gate to the tabernacle. The Hebrew root for altar means “to slay” or “slaughter.” The Latin word alta means “high.” An altar is a “high place for sacrifice/slaughter.” The altar stood raised on a mound of earth, higher than its surrounding furniture. This is a projection of Christ, our sacrifice, lifted up on the cross, His altar, which stood on a hill called Golgotha.

 

 

Atonement

The word atonement carries with it the idea of the just, holy, righteous side of God's nature being satisfied. God's law required death as the penalty for sin. When God saw the death of the innocent sacrifice, he was satisfied that the demands of his law had been carried out. Sacrificing an animal on an altar did not take away the sin. Man was still sinful. The sacrifice only pictured what was necessary for sin to be forgiven—death and shedding of blood. The blood provided an atonement or covering for sin. The Word became flesh

“And the word became flesh” -John 1:14

 

Brazen altar is where sacrificed is being made. Christ is the brazen altar of God to purge sins.

 

Christ is the “propitiation for our sins” (Romans 3:25; 1 John 2:2;4:10). Propitiation in Greek “hilasmos” is “appeasing” God’sAnger. Christ therefore is our Expiator (amender, atoner,

Redeemer). What is weak in the Law, Christ amended with a greater law i.e. law of grace /mercy (Romans 2:18; Hebrews 8:6; 12:24; Ephesians 2:15). And to appease God’s anger is through sin offering in a brazen altar. That is why He said, “Take it, eat it, This is my Body!”

 

 

 

 

The Letters

Sometime last month, the word, “write” came so real to me personally as I have read it from Ezek. 24:2; Rev. 1:11 that says, “ What thou seest, write in a book and send it to the seven churches: unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamum, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.”

 

“Son of man, write thee the name of the day, even of this selfsame day: the king of Babylon drew close unto Jerusalem this selfsame day “ (Ezekiel 24:2)

 

 

Pen of sin

Can there be a pen of sin?

 

Jeremiah 17:1, “The sin of Judah is written with a pen of iron, and with a point of a diamond. It is graven upon the table of their heart; and upon the horns of your altars.”

On July 17, 2018 at 8:00 am, I heard a voice saying, “eat this scroll.” And the word “scroll” in Hebrew could also mean “ roll, book, writing.”

 

Ezekiel saw a hand reaching out to him and he was given a roll. It contained “funeral song, word of sorrow and pronouncements of doom,” (Ezekiel 2:9-10/ NLT).
