Revelation 16:15 is related to the dream I had last Tuesday, May 29, 2018 which I just shared yesterday to David? The vision goes like this:
I was inside in a well-furnished room with two extending rooms that housed a separate receiving room and small kitchen. Then 4 or 5- year old boy appeared and gone throughout the door and followed him on the hallway leading to the toilet on the reception lounge. The boy suddenly disappeared until I could no longer find my way back to my room.
I tried to go back from the room where I came from but the building is formed like a collosseum and I couldn’t find my way back. I walked and walked and I passed through many functions rooms, hallways, underground tunnels, driveways, spacious rooms with rubbles of huge or gigantic rocks which are scattered around. Until I have grown weary, weak and thirsty and desperate walking. I passed many crowded functions rooms where feasting were being held like wedding, parties and others.
I finally managed to get out from the encircled- like colossal building until I ended up walking and wondering on the narrow streets with building from both sides of the road. The facades are mixed with old and the new, blending the east and west culture like what I saw in Old Jerusalem or Asia Minor (now Turkey). Quaint shops even modern fast-foods like KFC are there. I saw first the ruins of an huge abandoned evangelical church, with gigantic rocks littered around then followed by a Jewish synagogue with the newly wedded couple jubilantly greeted by well- wishers as they left the worship hall.
Most prominent scene is that I was fully naked. That was the naked truth yet my whole bare body is yet wrapped with sparkling white linen all though out my tiring journey. I was clothed with that white linen when I left my room till I started walking out from that door until I was whisked into the busy streets.
I came back with my senses and seen myself laying on the bed and meditating every detailed scene that I can remember.
What the dream means baffled me. And there must be meaning to that.
Naked truth defined
Naked truth is a plain unadorned facts and without concealment or embellishment. For example, “What I've told you is the naked truth.” This expression supposedly alludes to a fable in which Truth and Falsehood went bathing, Falsehood then dressed in Truth's clothes, and Truth, refusing to take another's clothes, went naked. It was first used in the 1500s according to Dictionary.com.
Jesus Christ said, “I am the truth,” (John 14:6). Truth is constant and it is unchanging. It derived from the Greek “aletheia” which means “what is true in any matter under consideration; in reality and in fact; certain; free from affection, pretense and simulation.”
Once, I have overhead a young wife who said that she hates ironing clothes because it is one of the household’s most difficult chores. And I believe that as well.
I started ironing my clothes on Saturday early morning from 12:30- 5:30. It took me longggg hours to finish ironing my clothes that day. I ironed out crumpled 16 long pants; 6 short pants; 4 polo shirts and 6 T shirts and 6 handkerchiefs..
In Ephesians 5:27, Apostle Paul said that the Bride of Christ must be “wrinkle-free.” That is in preparation of the Marriage of the Lamb with the Church.
When I opened my bible in the Book of Revelation on the same day at 11:30 in the morning, my eyes automatically struck up on Revelation 16:15 that says: “Take note. I will come unexpectedly like a thief! Blessed are all who are watching for me, who keep their robes ready so they will not need to walked naked and ashamed.”
Is it the Lord telling me something about the white robe I saw in a vision last Tuesday while I spent 4-5 hours ironing my clothes early this morning? Of all the pages, why there?
How are all these related to my previous devotion for the past few weeks about linen clothes?
On May 5, 2018, I rewrote my previous Sunday Preaching on “White Linen” to the “The Lady in Red.”
The “Lady in Red” is a story of a local beauty queen who became an international model, endorser, actress and married to a nice and wealthy American guy, and a resident of California in the West Coast. Until God have spoken to her to go back to her hometown in Anda, Pangasinan. The Lord convicted her to leave her past behind – her transgender life and live anew in Christ as he. Christ’s red-blood as atoning sacrifice has the power to change. As Isaiah once said, “Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool,” (Isaiah 1:18).
“The White Linen” was transpired on my April 30, 2018 quiet time entitled, “The righteous war.” Inspired from Rev. 19: 11-14, “Then I saw heaven opened, and a white horse was standing there. Its rider was named Faithful and True, for he judges fairly and wages a righteous war. 12 His eyes were like flames of fire, and on his head were many crowns. A name was written on him that no one understood except himself. 13 He wore a robe dipped in blood, and his title was the Word of God. 14 The armies of heaven, dressed in the finest of pure white linen, followed him on white horses.”
During that final battle, the saints of Jesus Christ must be dressed in the finest pure white linen in the same way that Christ will come like a thief and we were expected as well to be wearing our robes. What’s the similarities and relevance of all of these that pertains to robe or clothes?
Revelation 16:15 talked about the “robes” in New Living Translation (NLT) and the word, “garments” in King James Version (KJV).
Take note. Weill come unexpectedly like a thief! Blessed are all who are watching for me, who keep their robes ready so they will not need to walked naked and ashamed.”
It means in Greek “himation” as “a garment (of any sort like, cloak, mantle and the tunic); the upper garment; a dress; apparel; railment; robe, vesture.”
The Old Testament’s Levi is considered as special among 12 tribes of Israel. Moses was a son of a Levi. The Levites were commanded and called as a priests to the nation of Israel and they were instructed to perform their religious duties with God’s inspired priestly garments. This became ceremonial all throughout their generations. And Christ is the highest priest in the order of Melchizedek, king of Salem (Hebrews 2:17; 3:1; 4:14; 5:10; 6:20).
The Church of Jesus Christ and the saints are called “a royal priesthood,” (1 Peter 2:9). It is considered “kingdom priests” because royal in Greek “basileios” refers to “royal, kingly and regal” in nature. Priesthood is derived from a Greek word “hieros” meaning, “sacred and consecrated to the deity. These set-apart for God must performing with their priestly duties with the prescribed Levitical garments.
I asked our male Jewish tourist in 2014 why men wears a tiny cap over their head especially when they pray facing the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem. Rafi said that this tiny head cap named “kippa” means “the covering of God.” In the same way, when children especially minors leaves their parental custody in rebellion loses their immunity from demonic attack. They rebels will be under attack on all sides.
Later on, someone give me a tallit which is being used by a Jewish priest. . Another Palestinian friend from Jerusalem also gave me a shawl. These may be common Jewish apparels yet they are symbols of deeper divine truth pertaining to God.
Seeing with your eyes
Others can see with their eyes but not on their minds. While others can see things both from the eyes and mind (vision, revelation, discernment, wisdom).
Believers in Laodicea Church is a classic example of people with seeing eyes yet very, very blind that pictures the real condition of the Church today (Revelation 3:18).
Sad for this Laodicea whose geographical location is rich with Phyrgian stone that cure eye ailment and it considered the “eye-hospital capital of the world” during their ancient time. Today, how many Christians with degree from Theological School or Seminary, be masteral or doctoral who can see also the signs of times not on academic point of view but from the very eyes of God? Knowledge puffs up says Paul and yet with eyes seeing not.
The word “take note” in KJV “Behold” is derived from the Greek word “eido” which means “to see; to perceive with your eyes or senses or to pay attention.”
When people’s eyes are closed their complete awareness to their surrounding is nearly zero. They are completely unaware of what is happening around even through there poses a very, very great danger.
The word “thief” in Greek “klepto” means “to take away” which I perceived that everything that we have will be stripped out from our grip and hands until we will be left nothing, naked or empty.
The word “watching” in KJV “watches” is derived from the Greek “gregoreuo” meaning “to take heed lest through remission and indolence some destructive calamity suddenly overtake one.”
“To watch” denotes soberness or watchfulness or readiness in the same way that the people of the Israel was commanded to take their cloak on their hips above their knees during the Passover and be ready anytime to leave Egypt when the judgment of God comes.
It is worth noting that the Jews has 3 watches while during the time of Christ under the Roman Empire they have four (4) watches in the night like 6-9pm; 9pm-12am; 12am-3am; and 3am-6pm.
That was the reason of Intercessors for the Philippines (IFP) 24-HHP or 24-Hours House of Prayer. A watchman can foretell future events before it will happen.
Watches denote guard on duty. No one should leave the walls or the gates unguarded. That is why Ezekiel called us a watchman.
Ezekiel 3:13, “Son of man I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel, therefore hear the word at my mouth and give them warning from me.”
Let me personalize that from humanly point of view: “Peps, son of man, I made thee a watchman unto the house of Philippines, therefore hear the word at my mouth and give them warning from Me.”
Would that be possible? Of course yes! Otherwise God is not God and He is not an Impossible God. The word, “watchman” from Hebrew ”tsaphah” (*tsaw-faw) means “to spy; to keep watch closely; to peer into the distance.”
Joshua or Oshea prior to his leadership was that he was first known as aide of Moses and a spy, a good spy (Exodus 24:13; Number 13:8, 16; 14:6)
Numbers13:16, “to spy out” dfrom Hebrew “tur” means “to search out; to seek, to explore.’
A spy is an explorer, a navigator, a discoverer. He never seeks a second-hand information or opinion. He simply navigates for a new discovery and a new horizon.
How about you? Are you a spy or a feeder or pigeonhole?
A good spy
Four years ago, when “Anti-SOGIE Discrimination Act” was still under deliberation, some Christians groups were lobbying against it which includes a CBCP lawyer; Party-list Rep. Atienza, a Catholic; Lighthouse Baptist Bishop Abante; a minor Obed dela Cruz and his parents; CCF on two occasions represent by Pastor Tanchi and myself who was then representing Intercessors for the Philippines (IFP). CIBAC Rep. Chinchona Gonzales was also against it. Not until no one seem to be spying or watching the bill until I was finally approved on the 3rd Reading this January 2018. However, I submitted my Position Paper with Signatory Campaign signed by over 18,000 Filipinos of legal age from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao to let the Congress know and many were against it. But our spying wasn’t good enough.
Are you watching?
Are you watching like a good spy?
When you witnessed how the Quo Warranto removed the former Chief Justice Ma. Lourdes Sereno, what was your divine discernment?
Was it under the rule of law or politically motivated? How much do you know about the rule of law or Constitution? How important the sanctity of Constitution to people’s democratic way of life?
When we heard the number of dubious bills that are being authored by no less than the House Speaker as priority and urgent bills of the present administration, how prudent are we in the “understanding of the times “ like Issachar (1 Chronicles 12:32)?
Why the Congress approved the doubtful bills like the SOGIE BILL; marriage annulment and BBL?
Why other shady bills are considered “urgent” if not “priority” in the likes of Federalism, Charter Change, , Dissolution of Marriage, Civil Partnership (same-sex marriage) to name a few?
Or the fulfilment of Robert Misst’s prophetic word that God is giving the Philippines a “5-Year moratorium” to shape up or ship out last April, 2017? The 5-year moratorium lapsed last December 2017?
And by the unfolding of a new year - 2018, are these priority bills is a form of discipline, judgment or a mere warning to the nation?
When you heard that BBL was finally approved at the Congress on May 30, 2018 5:07 pm (my time piece) with 221 “Yes” votes; 11 “No” votes and 2 “ abstained” votes that even CIBAC said “Yes” according to Obed, my companion then, what does it mean to you?
Can we read the times of God? Are we spying according to God’s timepiece or we simply do not care at all?
A matter of 7 hours later after the Congress approve the BBL at 5:07 pm on a Wednesday, the Senate also approved the said BBL with a score of 21, 0 on the Final Reading and that is on Thursday, 31st of May 2018.
A “midnight election” was made when all the people are sleeping? Why the dubious bill have been approved during the night time?
Jesus said, “I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work, “ (John 9:4).
Christ used the word “night” referring to Nux according to Thayer Bible Dictionary.
Nux or Nyx was a primordial deity in Greek mythology that preceded the Titans and the Olympians, and was the personification of the night., Nyx's home was in Tartarus, along with her children Hypnos and Thanatos.
What is the relationship of Hacate with the BBL? Who is Hacate? I hope we will come to that later.
“Philippines is in fork-road,” says Robert Misst, a prophet from New Zealand on April 2012. Misst said that he was sent by God to give us warning and the Lord has given us a “ 5-year moratorium” to pray for the nation. A fork-road is a cross-road between blessing or a curse or a life or death.
The 5-year moratorium was from 2012-2017.
By January, 2018, the end of God-given moratorium to the Church, the following bills surfaced :

HB 6595 or Civil Partnership, a Philippine style same –sex marriage authored by the House Speaker is being grilled on the maiden Committee Hearing on January 30, 2017 at the House of Representatives in Quezon City where I was one among the Resource Speaker.
Philippines is in a crossroad
Hekate or Hecate is a Greek goddess of crossroads
A cross-road is a road that crosses a main road or runs cross-country between main roads; the place of intersection of two or more roads; or figuratively, a crucial point especially where a decision must be made
Remember that the word “watching” in NLT or in KJV “watches” is derived from the Greek “gregoreuo” means “to take heed lest through remission and indolence some destructive calamity suddenly overtake one.”
It very surprising that many indolent Christians and pastors would say, “Nasa Bibliya na yaan, kung mangyayari, mangyayari yan” without lifting a single finger to to correct a wrong or to oppose what is evil to appease God in his incoming wrath.
He who does not watch will likely fall and be a recipient of God’s judgment. Have we not understood why Jesus said to Peter, “Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak,” (Matthew 26:41).
The word “watch” used in Greek “ gregoreuo” is not merely “to give strict attention or be cautious otherwise through remission and indolence some destructive calamity” comes but also have another deeper Greek word definition “egeiro.”
Egeiro means “to arouse from the sleep of death.” If I may define it in some Greek terms it means this way, “to arise from the Greek goddess of hypnos (sleep) and goddess of thanatos (death).”
Watching requires resurrection from the dead. You don’t simply standing there doing nothing waiting for the calamity to strike you dead.
It is either you pray and do a spiritual warfare against these demonic bills, but also to pray or appeal for the reversal of the approval of the bill such as submit Position Paper, initiate Signature Campaign to name a few.
God is a God of symbols or signs
Signs are vital to read the seasons of God.
Matthew 24:3 “And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world? “
Sign in Greek “semeion” means “mark, token or prodigy.” It also means “an unusual occurrence” or “remarkable events soon to happen.”
Signs are like forth-telling and/or foretelling i.e. predicting before it happens, it is a prophetic gift from the Spirit of God.
Matthew 24:12, “And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.”
For Example: What is a rainbow in the Bible? To whom it is given?
Matthew 24:2 “And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.”
Christ gave one greatest sign from among many signs. The Destruction of the Temple in 70 A.D. by the Romans led by Emperor Titus that flattened the Jerusalem and left the city of Jerusalem in rubble. Not until of course in 1947 when Carlos P. Romulo broke the tie in the UN HQ in New York City and gave his vote to Israel marking the “fig tree bringeth forth its bud,” a symbol of resurrection (Matt. 24:32) and the birthing of a nation in just a day (Isaiah 66:8).
Matthew 24: 6- 8, “And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows. “
Is it not an unusual occurrence or a sort of theophany when Senate was about to approved BBL on early 2015 but later disapproved it when “Fallen SAF 44” was allegedly “massacred” by “ BIFF and MILF rebels” in Tukanalipao, Mamasapano where the “Bridge of No Return” is?
How will define a rebel? Will you legitimize the existence of a rebel group? If yes, then what time it is now?
And what about the territorial wars today between Palestine and Israel, Iran and Russia are playing a major role; Saudi Arabia and Iranian backed Yemen; the North and South Korea’s peace treaty? How about the conflict in the West Philippine Sea; the militarization of China in the Spratlys which includes Philippine acclaimed reefs and shoals like Zubi Reef, Recto Bank, and many others;
Matthew 24:12, “And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.”
Iniquity from Greek “anomia” refers to “the condition without law; contempt and violation of law; transgression; unrighteousness” according to Thayer Bible Dictionary. James Strong define it as “illegality that is a violation of law or generally, a wickedness.”
Is it the Quo Warranto by a Christian brother against a Christian sister is a prelude of End Times? Or are we not watching the unfolding of current events like Ezekiel as a watchman does?
Love refers to Greek word, “agapao” meaning “a brotherly affection, benevolence, affection, or goodwill.” The Philadelphia Church in the Book of Revelation is called “brotherly love.”
Is it the Quo Warranto vs. former Chief Justice Sereno is a contempt or violation of the Philippine Constitution? Christ said “vd iniquity will increase” in Matthew 24:12 the word iniquity means “transgression or violation of law’ in Greek anomia.
So when you violate the Constitution as the fundamental law of the law then that is iniquity. For me, iniquity is a blatant disregard of the rule of law. When someone grossly violates the Constitution that will eventually exposes the Filipinos to all kinds of vicious attack that lifted up their protective immunity and gear from all kinds of abuses. From there anarchy or without the rule of law will soon to prevail. Is there is a marking darkness looming in our horizon?
Is it not the Chief Solicitor General Calida is a Christian and supposedly a brother in the Lord of an evangelical believer Sereno? Is it not Calida a former JIL church attendee if not church member, a contemporary of Gunigundo Magtanggol (also JIL) and in recent years also attends in Victory Christian Fellowship (VCF)?
Was there any agapao or love extended to the former CJ from her brethren from the government that supposedly displays the light of Christ?
Don’t we have Christians in the government to be a voice in the wilderness? Are they not Christians : former Pastor Ernie Abella (who laid hands on me and prophesied that my voice will be heard in the halls of power); Solicitor Gen. Calida, Senators Pacman, Gatchalian, Joel Villanueva, Gringo Honasan; Palace spokesperson, Harry Roque (a UMC member according to his former Bishop who was seated with me in a national meeting two months ago); Alan Cayetano and her sister; former SEC commissioner and recently DFA Sec. Perfecto Yasay; Atty. Belgica, son of Butch Belgica, who is now Usec in Anti-Graft, who was one among those who were seated with me in many meetings in connection with our “Transformational” ideology; CIBAC representative Atty. Erwin, son-in-law of TV evangelist and JIL Founder Eddie Villanueva; ?
Or what we saw or watched from the Quo Warranto is a prelude of the coming End Times as Christ said,“And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.” (Matthew 24:12).
And there will be “affliction, offenses, betrayal and hate.”
Did he (Calida) not accuse Sereno, ‘a liar? “(Matthew 24:9-10). What we see here now is “Christian against Christian,” unless otherwise Calida is merely pretending as a Christian before or did he already backslide?
Or will there be a civil war or religious war looming in the Philippine horizon once the approved BBL by the Congress and Senate will be signed by the President?
And it is not a crime to ask questions.
Robe, garments, cloak
Cloak or garment in KJV is “himation” in Greek meaning “a cloak, mantle, tunic, outer garment.”
While we give fondest attraction to branded apparels to appease our deepest appetite and urges, we lost track of our deepest need – to cover us with utmost protection from shame of sin and guilt by God-made covering His blood and His word when the Lord comes.
We find importance to those we have lost (as I looking for the prayer tallit that was given to me as well the kippa that was given to me while at the Wailing Wall in 2014).
Shame is from “aschemosune” which refers to “female’s genitalia.”
Nothing in this world is without a symbol, even your very DNA which has numbers and that is a symbol.
Crossroad, the naked truth
Are we at the crossroad, would that be the naked truth?
Is the Philippines at the crossroad while we watch “disputable bills” being approved on the broad daylight leading the nation on the verge of moral degradation, civil collapse and anarchy (without rule of law)?
Are the newly approved bills such as SOGIE Law, BBL, Marriage Dissolution; and other impending bills like Civil Partnership (same-sex marriage) are bad omen in order for us to be sober and watchful?
Are we not on the “forkroad” or “crossroad” as Robert Misst, prophet of the Lord when he forewarned us on 2012?
“Prophecy and intercession are two faces in just once coin,” Misst said on February 21, 2012.
It dawned on me that when God gave you a word, a prophecy, or a revelation, you are deemed accountable and responsible to make it happen or avert things to happen.
While blood from ground cries out for justice from over 20,000 slain suspected drug-users, the blood of Christ on the other hand is the only acceptable divine standard to reconcile man to God (Genesis 4:10; Romans 3:24-25; 1 John 2:2; 4:10).
The Temple Destruction in 70 AD is like atoning-period for the nation of Israel. Their diaspora (scattering) period have given them a heaving sigh of desperate cries to bring their nation back to them. Today, Israel looks forward for the Messianic Return and it is for that reason that David Institute, an international Jewish NGO is preparing all the necessary equipments and utensils for the future restoration of their temple.
Will the mockery or scoffing (2 Peter 3:3) against God’s servants or prophets by some numbers of Filipino Christians may possibly bring this nation on her knees until she will cry out for the living God and not for the demigod- politicians?
Shall BBL and other dubious bills once approved shall become a whipping rod to the Church and to the people?
When God sent His prophets in the likes of Vincent Selvakumar and Sadhu and forewarned us of the coming super-typhoon, instead of paying heed and praying, Christians slandered them as “false-prophets.”
Facebook became a classic example of slandering tool against one another even Christians themselves especially when their strong allegiance to men in politics and not in God Himself.
When the “flesh-eating disease” hits the late night news, instead of fear of God, they cursed the prophets of God who gave us the warning.
Finally, super-typhoon Yolanda hit Samar and Leyte as exactly prophesied and yet many were still unrepentant. As it is written:
20 “And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk: 21 Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts, “ (Revelation 9:20-21). Fornication in Greek “porneuo” is literal or figurative. Turning away from God is a form of fornication like Esau.
Isaiah 26:9b, “For when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.”
God’s judgment is not a mere display of God’s wrath against sin, transgressions and iniquity but a corrective and restorative as well. Habakkuk 3:2 says, “In wrath remember mercy.” The Bride of Christ will not be married to the Lamb unless she is fully sanctified and purified (Ephesians 5:26).
Etymology & Illustration
On January 31, 2018 (Wednesday) at around 4pm, I gave my “Six Points Position” against HB 6595 or “Civil Partnership,” the Philippine version of “same –sex marriage” at the Committee Hearing in the Congress. An irate member of the House Representatives from Cebu, Hon. Gwendolyn Garcia immediately called her female staff who instantly gave her a book and she opened it before the Committee and looked at me on the eyes and read to me the Constitution saying, “Do not use religious terminology here.” Then she added, “ The Constitution says ‘The separation of Church and State shall be inviolable.” And she was referring to Article II, Section 6.
Without battling an eyelash, I said to her and to the Committee:
“Honourable Committee, I did not use the word “conjugal” to persuade you of any of my religious conviction or affiliation. It is in fact your House Bill 6595 used the word “conjugal” which is a religious terminology according to its etymology. Conjugal is 1545 word which is derived from French or Latin conjugalis means “a husband and wife to join.” It also means marital, married, matrimonial, nuptial and wedded. Why would you use a word in your provision if you do not know it.
Besides, Article III on Human Rights “Section 5. “No law shall be made respecting an establishment of religion … No religious test shall be required for the exercise of civil or political rights.”
In other words, even a Bishop has the right to interfere to this bill because this is a political and civil issue that even me has the freedom to interfere.”
After I said that, Rep. Garcia asked the Chairwoman or the presiding officer to adjourned the meeting.
Now, let us study the origin of BBL whose main player is the so-called MNLF
There is only one flag in the Philippines. Any other flag connotes another territorial domain. You cannot find any town or city in the Philippines that can be legalized as “Catholic City” or “Christian Province.” That will be unconstitutional according to Article II, Section 6, “The separation of Church and State shall be inviolable.” The word “shall” means “must” which simply means no legislation ever will be deemed legal or constitutional to name it in the name of religion.
Philippines is a democratic and republican nation meaning that “civilian has supremacy over the military” and we are not under the “rules of men or politician” but under the “rule of law” as enshrined in the Philippine Constitution.
The newly approved bills namely SOGIE Law and BBL, will it be offensive to the Church and to the believers, and especially to the Lord Jesus Christ?
There are still more other bills that can strip off our dignity for a due process of the law in the like of Dissolution of Marriage and Civil Partnership that can criminalize us should we n not compromise our faith and adhere to the wicked law of the government
Christ said in Matthew 26:31, “ye shall be offended because of me.”
The word, “offended” in Greek “skandalizo” i.e. “ to entice to sin; to be distrusted and deserted; to be judged unfavourably; to be trapped”
Since the Chief magistrate is now unseated who will supposedly uphold the rule of law for all of us, are we far more open and vulnerable from any vicious attack due to iniquity of men, be Christians or non-Christians? “If the foundations are destroyed what the righteous man can do?” (Psalm 11:3).
Can we endure (Greek “Nikao”) the temptations of being deserted by the persons we loved like dear friend, mother, father, siblings, husband or wife or children?
After forewarning His disciples of the hard times ahead, when Christ took a bread, gave thanks and broke it and said “This is my body which is broken down for you, eat it?”
What is this bread for?
In Matthew 26:18, Passover i.e. Greek “pascha” meaning “paschal supper.”
Strong Bible Dictionary define “deipnon” i.e.as the supper, especially a formal meal usually held at the evening, it is used of the Messiah's feast, symbolising salvation in the Kingdom. This is in preparation for the beautifully dressed bride.
Deipnon is an special evening meal quite different from two other Greek meals namely akratisma (morning meal) and Ariston (mid-day meal). The main purpose of the Deipnon was to honor Hekate and to placate (appease) the souls in her wake who “longed for vengeance” according to Aeschylus, “Doubtful Fragment.” A secondary purpose was to purify the household and to atone for bad deeds a household member may have committed offended Hekate, causing her to withhold her favor from them.
Deipnon is not merely a meal covenant. It is a Feast Covenant of Marriage.
It is very surprising that while Christ stands at the door of Laodicea Church (Rev. 3:23) who is described as poor, wretched, blind and naked, He assured her of a covering to cover her shame and guilt of these words saying:
Rev 3:18, “ I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. “
And on the next day after the Lord gave Revelation 16:15 concerning “garments, nakedness and shame, “He gave another words through my Daily Devotion saying:
Rev. 21:1-2, “ Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the old heaven and the old earth had disappeared. And the sea was also gone. 2 And I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven like a bride beautifully dressed for her husband.”
This is the naked truth. Persecution is real yesterday, today and in the near future (1 Cor. 4:7-9) yet in the very hard times will prepare the Bride of Christ in her stunning looks – a bride beautiful dressed!
(I find it very encouraging of how the Lord spoke about robe or dress in a very orderly chronological order since Revelation 21:1-2 is my quiet time this Sunday, June 3, 2018 at 3:45 am)

MILF justifies SAF 44 slay
Christina Mendez (The Philippine Star) - March 25, 2015 - 12:00am
MANILA, Philippines - The police commandos fired first and broke a ceasefire, they used dead comrades as shields, and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) did not coddle two top terrorists in Mamasapano, Maguindanao.
These are among the points raised in the report that the MILF finally submitted to the Senate yesterday, in which the rebel group effectively justified the killing of 44 police Special Action Force (SAF) commandos and the looting of their firearms, equipment and personal effects on Jan. 25.
The MILF report was submitted to the office of Sen. Grace Poe, chairman of the Senate committee on public order and dangerous drugs which investigated the Mamasapano incident.
While admitting the use of the high-powered Barrett .50-caliber sniper rifle, the MILF insisted that no unnecessary force or methods against international rules on warfare were used, and the MILF fighters used “their advantages to the fullest.”
“Reports about mutilation, beheading and willful killing are unfounded,” the report stated.
Chief MILF negotiator Mohagher Iqbal said the report, based on the findings of the rebel group’s special investigating commission formed to look into the encounter, was submitted upon Poe’s request.
He added that the report was also submitted to Maj. Gen. Dato Sheik Mokhsin Sheik Hassan, head of mission of the International Monitoring Team in Cotobato City last March 22.
“We trust that this report is treated with fairness, and we hope that all the information provided therein will be helpful in your evaluation of the incident,” Iqbal said in the transmittal letter to the Senate.
The MILF’s special investigative commission was headed by Said Abdulsalam, with Hussein Munoz, Toks Ebrahim, Von Al Haq and Abu Ubaidah Agkong as members.
The investigative commission interviewed field commanders involved in the incident, relatives of the alleged victims and verified information in the field.
The SAF troopers launched the operation to get Malaysian bomb maker Zulkifli bin Hir, alias Marwan, and his Filipino cohort Basit Usman in Mamasapano.
The commandos killed Marwan but Usman escaped.
SAF troopers later clashed with MILF rebels, Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters (BIFF) and private armed groups that resulted in the death of 44 policemen, 18 rebels and five civilians.
In the 35-page report submitted to the Senate, the MILF justified the move to fire at the SAF troopers because the rebels were attacked by the 55th Special Action Company.
The report said without prior coordination, the Bangsamoro Islamic Armed Forces (BIAF) of the MILF did not know that the forces in Sitio Amilil were government forces with whom there is a ceasefire agreement.
The MILF could not do anything but fire back after they were fired upon near the wooden bridge, the report read.
Two men were killed instantly in the assault of the SAF troopers.
“Granting, without admitting, that there is any liability on the part of the 105th Co. (MILF) for the violation of the ceasefire, the disciplinary action should be carried out by the MILF,” it added, citing the implementing operational guidelines of the general cessation of hostilities.
The team also declared that the encounter is not an ordinary crime but a direct armed confrontation between the parties that have signed a ceasefire agreement.
“As to the matter of liability for commission of acts that are violative of international humanitarian law, there is no evidence that would show this,” the team said.
The evidence maintained that the MILF was not responsible for the acts but, apparently, the BIFF.
The team also recommended that the MILF should even file a protest for the violation of the ceasefire by the SAF.
“Without the coordination, the gun battle was inevitable when two armed groups crossed paths, especially after the BIAF was fired upon by the PNP-SAF,” the report read.
They also want Police Officer 2 Christopher Lalan to be probed after the team found out that the SAF commando killed four combatants who were sleeping in a makeshift mosque in Baragay Tukanalipao, a day after the bloody carnage with the SAF troopers.
The group cited international law where the MILF would be considered “hors de combat” as they were not in the position to assault Lalan.
It also cited possible violations of the prior additional protocol of the Geneva Convention of Aug. 12, 1945 and related provisions of the Protection of Victims of International Armed Conflicts.
A person is classified as “hors de combat” if he is in the power of an adverse party; clearly expresses an intention to surrender or he has been rendered unconscious or is otherwise incapacitated by wounds, sickness and so incapable of defending himself.
The MILF probe team also justified the taking of so-called spoils of the war.
“While taking of war booties is justified in international law, in the interest of peace, these were returned to the government. It should also be noted that other armed groups and ordinary civilians took the firearms and other personal effects of the killed SAF,” it added.
“Hence, the MILF can only return those that were taken by the combatants,” it added.
“The superior number of MILF forces, familiarity with the terrain, coupled with their high caliber firearms, gave the MILF forces advantage and they eventually subdued the 55th SAC,” the report said.
The gunfight “waned at around 1300H (1 p.m.), some of the BIAF forces went inside the cornfield where the 55th SAC were positioned purposely to retrieve the dead bodies of their comrades to comply with the Islamic tradition to bury the dead within 24 hours,” the report added.
It took 20 minutes for the MILF rebels to retrieve the bodies of their comrades.
In the process, the suspects – numbering about 100 MILF men – also took the “opportunity to collect war booties.”
At this time, 17 MILF members were killed in the exchange of gunfire.
Some of the fatalities were identified as Sueb Kamod, Nasrudib Saptula, Abdulrahman Abdullah and Esmail, Kaharodin Baluno Mahmod Saga and Salahudin Camin.
The fighting supposedly stopped after the MILF men received a call from 105th Co. commander Zacaria Goma informing them about the imposition of a ceasefire.
Goma also ordered the MILF combatants to pull out from the area, read the report, which did not directly name the group leader who was involved in the encounter with the 55th SAC.
As the MILF was withdrawing from the site, it was noted in the report that the 55th SAC commandos’ bodies “were found underneath one another as if purposely piled.”
“They noticed that the dead bodies sustained multiple gunshot wounds. They realized later from the position of the dead and the number of wounds of some 55th SAC men that some of them had used the bodies of their dead comrades as shield during the intense fighting,” the report read, which was lifted from statements of the MILF rebels involved in the encounter.
It also mentioned that while the MILF withdrew from Sitio Amilil, the combatants recognized armed men from the BIFF moving towards the encounter site.
The MILF findings contradicted the Senate’s, where the 44 slain members of the 55th SAC and the 84th Seaborne were said to have been “massacred” by the gunmen.
The Special Investigating Team also reported that four MILF men identified as Musib Kasim, Mamarisa Sandigan, Rasul Kamsa and Norhamid Angkay were killed a day after the encounter while in a small mosque locally called “langgal.”
According to witness Melgar Sailila, he and the four men went back to his house in Amilil after the firefight. They rested after lunch, and prayed in the langgal at about noon.
At about 1 p.m. they were attacked by a SAF member later identified through photographs as PO2 Lalan.
At around 2 p.m., Lalan also engaged armed men identified as Sheik Abdullah and Mohammad Ambilang in a firefight.
Ambilang was killed while others escaped, the report said.
Lalan has been tagged at the lone survivor of the 36-member 55th SAC, which served as the blocking force of the 84th Seaborne.
Thirteen members of the Seaborne led by Supt. Raymond Train was the team that neutralized Malaysian terrorist Marwan, who was subject of Operation Plan Exodus.
The MILF report focused on issues of what happened during the encounter with the SAF on Jan. 25. It also looked into the lapses that were committed in heeding the call for ceasefire, as well as whether the MILF violated the Code of Conduct regarding mutilation and desecration of the dead.
It also determined whether or not the MILF committed other violations of human rights and international humanitarian law and if the men took the guns and personal effects of the SAF.
It also addressed the question of why the taking of war booty was justified.
The MILF probe team disputed the video showing the killing of PO2 Joseph Sagonoy of the 55th SAC.
“A scrutiny of the viral video showing the killing of Joseph Sagonoy does not clearly identify the killer as one of the members of the MILF,” it said.
“Even if the allegation that the firearm of Sagonoy is one of the 16 firearms returned by the MILF to the government, this does not prove that the killer of Sagonoy was a BIAF member,” it added.
“The taking of the firearm is different from the act of killing,” the report said, noting further that armed men looted the area after the encounter.
SAF chief issues denial
SAF director Chief Supt. Moro Virgilio Lazo, who took over the helm of the elite police unit amid the controversy on the SAF operation, vehemently denied that a SAF officer wined and dined soldiers on the eve of the Mamasapano raid.
Lazo said he conducted his own investigation on the allegations of Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV that SAF officers invited and treated Army commanders to dinner and drinks on the night of Jan. 24.
“There’s no truth to that,” Lazo told The STAR, referring to Trillanes’ allegation. “Under SAF protocol, troopers are placed on isolation to ensure they are ready for the operation and no information will be leaked.”
Lazo claimed his own investigation proved that no SAF officer went out the night before the SAF mission to arrest Marwan and Usman.
The SAF chief, however, refused to elaborate.
He also noted that Defense Secretary Voltaire Gazmin could have been misinformed when he told the media that a member of the SAF had invited 45th IB commander Lt. Col. Romeo Bautista and 601st Brigade commander Col. Melquiades Feliciano to dinner.
Instead, Lazo urged Trillanes to ask Bautista and Feliciano to identify the officer of the PNP who had dinner with them.
The Philippine National Police (PNP) said over P12 million more in donations will be given to the relatives of the SAF commandos who were killed and wounded in the Mamasapano encounter.
The PNP clarified that the donations will be separate from the benefits that the relatives of the 44 slain SAF commandos would receive from the government – a total P66.37 million.
Officials said P34.57 million of the P66.37 million has been given to the families so far, mostly coming from the Presidential Social Fund, the PNP, the National Police Commission and the Public Safety Mutual Benefit Fund Inc.
PNP spokesman Chief Supt. Generoso Cerbo Jr. said the P12 million was deposited by well-meaning individuals and groups in a bank account opened by the PNP at the Landbank of the Philippines to help the SAF and their families. – With Cecille Suerte Felipe, Jaime Laude, John Unson
US Wages ''War on Terror'' in the Philippines
a joint news conference with Philippine President Benigno Aquino III at the Malacanang Palace in Manila, the Philippines, April 28, 2014. (Stephen Crowley/The New York Times)
Although Islamic State regularly captures global headlines, the so-called fight against ''terrorism'' is not just confined to the Middle East. The United States quietly maintains other fronts in the War on Terror - including the Philippines.
Last January, Filipino police from the elite Special Action Force (SAF) - a Philippine SWAT-style police unit that's modeled off the British Army Special Air Service (SAS) - entered Tukanalipao, a small enclave in the Mamasapano municipality, in the southwestern part of the Philippines' Mindanao island. Their goal was to arrest two suspected terrorists who were on the FBI's Most Wanted Terrorist List with hefty US bounties on their heads - Zulkifli bin Hir (also known as Marwan), a Malaysian national, bomb maker and leader of the Southeast Asian Islamic militant group Jemaah Islamiya; and Abdul Basit Usman, a Filipino rebel and bomb-making expert aligned with Abu Sayyaf and Jemaah Islamiyah. Neither of these men were members of al-Qaeda, and there is little evidence suggesting their involvement in terrorist plots against the US. Marwan was killed in the operation, and his finger severed and sent to the FBI to confirm his identity.
''It was a mission that we feel like the US used Filipino pawns to undertake, and where's the fairness in that?''
However, the operation also resulted in a violent firefight between Philippine police commandos and Islamic separatists - Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) and Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters (BIFF). Mindanao is the southernmost of the Philippines' three island groups (Mindanao, Visayas, Luzon). The southwestern part of Mindanao is home to the Muslim, or Moro, population, which is comprised of many ethnic groups. It has also been the location of decades-long fighting between the Philippine government and Muslim separatists. The operation - officially named Operation Exodus but called ''Mamasapano massacre'' by many - resulted in 67 deaths, 44 of which were police, along with some separatists and many civilians.
Kindly define to me what is “Muslim” which is also called “Moro?”
Also define “Islamic separatists,” what do this Islamic-faith believers are fighting for? Is it “separatists” redefine Islam-believing Filipino for a separate state?

The star and crescent is an iconographic symbol used in various historical contexts but most well known today as a symbol of the former Ottoman Empire and, by popular extension, the Islamic world. It develops in the iconography of the Hellenistic period (4th–1st centuries BCE) in the Kingdom of Pontus, the Bosporan Kingdom and notably the city of Byzantium by the 2nd century BCE. It is the conjoined representation of the crescent and a star, both of which constituent elements have a long prior history in the iconography of the Ancient Near East as representing either Sun and Moon or Moon and Morning Star (or their divine personifications). Coins with crescent and star symbols represented separately have a longer history, with possible ties to older Mesopotamian iconography. The star, or Sun, is often shown within the arc of the crescent (also called star in crescent, or star within crescent, for disambiguation of depictions of a star and a crescent side by side) as written by Leroy A. Campbell.
In numismatics in particular, the term crescent and pellet is used in cases where the star is simplified to a single dot according to Catalogue of the Greek coins in The British Museum (2005), p. 311 (index).
In Byzantium, the symbol became associated with its patron goddess Artemis/Hecate, and it is used as a representation of Moon goddesses (Selene/Luna or Artemis/Diana) in the Roman era. Ancient depictions of the symbol always show the crescent with horns pointing upward and with the star (often with eight rays) placed inside the crescent. This arrangement is also found on Sassanid coins beginning in the 5th or 6th century CE.
The combination is found comparatively rarely in late medieval and early modern heraldry. It rose to prominence with its adoption as the flag and emblem of the Ottoman Empire and some of its administrative divisions (eyalets and vilayets) and later in the 19th-century Westernizing tanzimat (reforms). The Ottoman flag of 1844, with a white ay-yıldız (Turkish for "crescent-star") on a red background, continues to be in use as the flag of the Republic of Turkey, with minor modifications. Other states formerly part of the Ottoman Empire also used the symbol, including Libya (1951–1969 and after 2011), Tunisia (1956) and Algeria (1958). The same symbol was used in other national flags introduced during the 20th century, including the flags of Azerbaijan (1918), Pakistan (1947), Malaysia (1948), Singapore (1959) and Mauritania (1959).
In the later 20th century, the star and crescent have acquired a popular interpretation as a "symbol of Islam" according to Cyril Glassé, “ The New Encyclopedia of Islam” (revised ed. 2001), s.v. "Moon" (p. 314).
God is called Jehovah-Jireh referring to symbols, signs, omens, insignia which includes the rainbow, a covenant between God and Noah; as well the end-time warnings of Jesus Christ pertaining to the Last Days.

Dining with Christ
The Lord promised to "dine" ("sup" KJV) with the one who would hear His voice and open the door (Rev. 3:19-20). "The word translated sup is deipnein and its corresponding noun is deipnon. The Greeks had three meals in the day. There was akratisma, breakfast, which was no more than a piece of dried bread dipped in wine. There was ariston, the midday meal. A man did not go home for it; it was simply a picnic snack eaten by the side of the pavement, or in some colonnade, or in the city square. There was deipnon; this was the evening meal; the main meal of the day; people lingered over it, for the day's work was done according to William Barclay.
Orientals invariably begin by eating an “akratisma” in the morning before they will smoke a pipe, or drink a cup of coffee; they have also an insuperable prejudice against the internal use of cold water at this hour.
The Greek “áriston” literally means "without boundary, designation" – which is "undetermined," referring to the meal eaten anytime before the main meal (isupper or deípnon).
To the ancient Greeks, deipnon is an offering accredited to Hekate to suspend her judgment. Encyclopædia Britannica, Titan Hekate has power over heaven, earth, and sea and is able to grant prosperity and all the blessings of daily life. Hekate is the goddess of crossroads, magic, ghosts, and necromancy
The star and the crescent
"There are also three cases [... viz., associated with the "Danubian Rider Religion"] where the star, figured as a radiate disc 'balancing the crescent moon', must represent Sol, balancing Luna who is represented as a crescent instead of in bust. The 'star in crescent' theme itself appears only once, on an engraved gem, accompanied by the lion and an indecipherable inscription [...] This theme is connected with the Orient and has a long history behind it in the Hittite, Babylonian, Assyrian, Sassanid and Iranian worlds. Campbell gives us valuable particulars. The heavenly bodies thus symbolized were seen as the powerful influence of cosmic fatalism guiding the destinies of men." Dumitru Tudor, Christopher Holme (trans.), Corpus Monumentorum Religionis Equitum Danuvinorum (CMRED) (1976), p. 192 (referencing Leroy A. Campbell, Mithraic Iconography and Ideology' '(1969), 93f.

Place of no return
The Holy Scriptures talks about the “place of no return”. It is called “hell.”
“For a fire is kindled in mine anger, and shall burn unto the lowest hell, and shall consume the earth with her increase, and set on fire the foundations of the mountains,” Deuteronomy 32:22.
The word “hell” in Hebrew “sheol” refers to the “underworld grave” or “pit,” or “place of no return “ or the “the abode of the dead.”
Is it the ancient god of Babylonia and Assyria called “Ishtar” is related to “sheol” or ”hell.” Assyria according to Genesis 2:14 is in the “east” which is called “Nineveh” or “Babylon” (Genesis 10:11) now the modern IRAQ where the ISIS originated from Al-Qaeda
Etymology means an explanation of where the world came from; the history of a word; the study of word histories.
Iconography is the study of images or symbols related to something; the imagery or symbolism of a work of art; an artist or a body of art; the traditional or conventional images or symbols associated with a subject and especially a religious or legendary subject.
Purpose of Deipnon
Deipnon is an special evening meal quite different from two other Greek meals namely akratisma (morning meal) and Ariston (mid-day meal).
The main purpose of the Deipnon was to honor Hekate and to placate (appease) the souls in her wake who “longed for vengeance” according to Aeschylus, “Doubtful Fragment.”
A secondary purpose was to purify the household and to atone for bad deeds a household member may have committed offended Hekate, causing her to withhold her favor from them.
Aristophanes (Plutus, 594) said, the Deipnon was celebrated on the night before the first visible sliver of moon could be seen, the night of the new moon. The new moon was the last day of the lunar month and the Deipnon rituals allowed the family to begin the new month, which they celebrated as the Noumenia. This differs from how modern astronomy calculates the new moon, so one may not follow a modern calendar to set this date.
Hekate's Deipnon takes place during the dark phase of the moon: the end of the lunar month(any time before the sliver of the new moon has been sighted). Hekate, according to the Liddell and Scott Greek-English Lexicon, means “bringer or giver of light” or Ekatephosphoros. At the darkest part of the month, we prepare our homes for the transition to a new month.
Hekate's Deipnon is a time of purification of self, home, and affairs.
Hekate’s Three Process
Place an offering on a crossroad.
It is surprising that Hekate’s processes is exactly the same last three (3) Feasts of the Lord that are still not yet fulfilled namely : Feast of the Trumpets, Feast of Atonement (Sanctification) and the Feast of Tabernacle seeing the Bride of Christ purified for the Wedding Banquet.
It was the deipnon that Christ would share with the man who answered His knock, no hurried meal, but that where people lingered in fellowship. If a man will open the door, Jesus Christ will come in and linger long with him." (William Barclay, The Revelation Of John, Vol. 1, pp. 147-148).
Strong Bible Dictionary define “deipnon” i.e.as the supper, especially a formal meal usually held at the evening, it is used of the Messiah's feast, symbolising salvation in the kingdom; food taken at evening.
The Deipnon Hekate consists of three main parts:
Meal set out at a crossroads.
The people of God, the Jews were on the crossroad between Egypt and the Promised Land according to the God’s promise to Abraham (Gen.12:1-4)
When God called Moses, he refuses and very doubtful and fearful. Moses was on the crossroad. So the promise of God to Abraham is at the crossroad as well. It is the sign of the cross is a crossroad? Crossroad is crossover. Passover is a crossroad.
Exodus 3:11 “And Moses said unto God, Who am I, that I should go unto Pharaoh, and that I should bring forth the children of Israel out of Egypt?”
Passover in Hebrew “pesach” i.e. Passover, sacrifice of Passover, animal victim, festival or victim. Root word “pasach” (paw-sakh) i.e. to pass over; spring over, to skip, to be lame, to limp, to hop, skip over, hesitate, halt, to dance. (Exodus 12:11, 21; 12:27)
Expiation i.e. Atonement
Jewish Atonement. Exodus 29:33, 36-37; 30:10; Numbers 35:33; Lev. 4:26; Atonement during Sabbaths, new moons, set feats, for holy things Nehemiah 10:33; Christ the ultimate atoning sacrifice Romans 5:11, “Jesus Christ by whom we have now received the atonement “ i.e. “katallage” (kat-al-lag-ay)i.e. exchange of the business of money changers; reconciliation, restoration).
Jewish Purification: Number 19:9, “for a water of separation: it is a purification for sin,” purification is “chata’ah” (khat-taw-aw) i.e. sin offering; purification from sins of ceremonial uncleanliness; penalty, sacrifice; punishment of sin. Luke 2:22; is Greek “katharismos” i.e. cleaning, ritual washing (before and after meals), ablution, washing off.” You see some jars inside Hagia Sofia as well in Sultan Ahmet (Blue) Mosque in Constantinople (or modern Turkey today).
Acts 21:26 “days of purification” Greek “hagnismos” i.e. purification or expiation. Greek root word, “hagnizo” ceremonially (to make pure, purify, cleanse, sanctity).
Communion, Breaking of the Bread, the Lord’s Supper is the Lord’s Paschal Lamb and the Lord’s Passover in Exodus 12:3, 11,
Jesus Christ is the Bread and the Wine. Matthew 26:26 “And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body.”
Like in the Greek gourmet’s "Mediterranean triad": wheat, olive oil, and wine; Jesus Christ is the Unleavened Bread, His blood as a wine poured out as an offering and He sends the Holy Spirit.
John 16:7 “Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.”
Exodus 29:40 is an Old Testament picture of “Mediterranean Triad,” and it says,
“And with the one lamb a tenth deal of flour mingled with the fourth part of an hin of beaten oil; and the fourth part of an hin of wine for a drink offering.”
Communion is a basic and very important Christian doctrine. It must always be remembered and never to be forgotten.
Act 2:46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart.
While Matthew could have forgotten some of the words that uttered by the Lord directly, some could have remembered what Matthew missed, the word, “remember.” In Paul’s Letter to the Corinthians, he mentioned the word, remember:
1Cor. 11:25 “After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This
cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. “
Remembrance in Greek “anamnesis” means “to recollect”. Or in Greek “anamimnesko” i.e. ”call to remembrance, to remind, to bring it into one’s mind. “
