“Then I saw heaven opened, and a white horse was standing there. Its rider was named Faithful and True, for he judges fairly and wages a righteous war. 12 His eyes were like flames of fire, and on his head were many crowns. A name was written on him that no one understood except himself. 13 He wore a robe dipped in blood, and his title was the Word of God. 14 The armies of heaven, dressed in the finest of pure white linen, followed him on white horses. 15From his mouth came a sharp sword to strike down the nations. He will rule them with an iron rod. He will release the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty, like juice flowing from a winepress. 16 On his robe at his thigh19:16 Or On his robe and thigh. was written this title: King of all kings and Lord of all lords.” - Rev. 19: 11-16/NLT,
The Avenger
I find it very amusing that the movie we watched yesterday is entitled “The Avengers: Infinity War” that matches with my quiet time today concerning “righteous war” in Rev. 19:11/NLT. The plot of the movie Avengers is placing things in the entire universe in what it calls “alignment.”
Prior of watching the movie, Avengers in SM Rosales yesterday, my Sunday preaching last Sunday of April 15, 2018 is entitled “The Alignment” which I strongly emphasized when Carlos P. Romulo broke the tie in UN Headquarter in New York City on November 1947 and placed his vote in behalf of the Philippines in favour of Israel. From there Romulo or the Philippines placed this chosen, peculiar nation of God on right alignment not just in the entire world but in the whole universe for Christ’s Second Coming from His heavenly throne which is an astronomical phenomenon.
Nemesis is the Greek god of revenge in Greek mythology. He is being called as the avenger or punisher. But in true living God, no one can go free without being punished.
Avenged in Greek “ekdikeo” means “to vindicate one’s right” or “to punish a person for a thing.”
The true avenger is no one else but the Lord Christ. It is written,
“After this, I heard what sounded like a vast crowd in heaven shouting, Salvation and glory and power belong to our God. His judgments are true and just. He has punished the great prostitute who corrupted the earth with her immorality. He has avenged the murder of his servants,” (Revelation 19:1-2/ New Living Translation).

The Seventy Weeks
As I said we are fast approaching a new season by the time Israel reaches her 70th year celebration as a sovereign nation by May 14, 2018 since they officially celebrated their statehood on May 14, 1948. Should Daniel 9:24 of “seventy weeks” Seventy weeks in Hebrew “shabua” is “period of seven years” which is referring to Tribulation Period when the nation of Israel shall “finish the transgression and to make an end of sin, and to make reconciliation for iniquity and to bring everlasting righteousness and to seal the vision and prophesy and to anoint the most Holy.”
Armageddon
After the seventy weeks is another transition called “Armageddon” which is being called by today’s political analysts and military strategists ‘the mother of all wars,” (Revelation 16:16)
That could be the reason why Bruce Pierce mentioned last 29th National Prayer Gathering in Pasay City these words, “Faith moves you in times and place. … You will be moving the threshold of the past to the future… You’re moving into church season into kingdom season … Philippines will set nations on alignment - a call of intercession in this year.”
Armageddon must take place as divinely planned because it serves as portal to Millennium. Between that period of seasons, Tribulation must takes place for God “to avenge the blood of the saints, “ (Revelation 16:6; 19:2). That is what we call it “righteous war” while the movie Avengers called it “infinity war,” (Revelation 19:11/NLT)
The infinity war
The infinity war has to begin and end in order for us to enter the portal of glorious eternity in Christ Jesus.
War has been here on earth from the time immemorial since the fall of Adam. It is struggle of power. It is like infinity war.
Enmity erupted between the seed of the woman and seed of the serpent (Genesis 3:13’ Revelation 12).
Enmity in Hebrew “eybah” means “hatred” or “hostility” just like the territorial wars in the Middle East and South China Sea today. It is a war of territories. From Adamic fall, the first war broke out – the war of the siblings – when Cain slew Abel his brother (Gen. 4:8). Until the inter-marriage of fallen angels called “nephilims” or KJV called “giants” came (Gen. 6:4) that caused God a plan to terminate mankind but found favour in a man named Noah instead until the Lord repented (Gen. 6:7-8).
The word “war” is first mentioned in Genesis 14:2 when four kings named Amraphel, Arioch, Chedorlaomer and Tidal “made war” with Bera and Birsha, the kings of Sodom and Gomorrah. And from that time, war of the kingdoms began. No wonder Jesus Christ said, “the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.” (Matt. 11:12).
The end is about to begin. And the beginning is about to end. And the opening of the portal of eternity is about to happen. This will takes place anytime from now at this Church Age – Tribulation – Armageddon – Millennium to Eternity Future.

The question is whether the Bangsamoro Basic Law (BBL) which is a priority bill of this present administration and House Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez is a part of this infinity war. According to author John Allen on “Global War on Christians: Elephant in the Room” which is being featured in 700 Club that says “The government and religion will advance their radical ideology” will pave the way for the global persecution and prosecution of Christ and the Church.
Is it John Allen’s statement will synchronize with the Philippines to legitimize the government for the legal persecution and killings of Christians and other religious group to advance Islamic ideology?
Will this be the return of the ancient Roman’s move to the martyrdom of the saints before 70 A.D. which we call “Imperial Cult?” Imperial Cult is when an emperor is treated as demigod by the virtue of legislation of the Roman Senate. With that anyone who defy a king, defy God. And this led to the prosecution of Christians in the entire Roman Empire.
And what the Church is doing now? Are we like cell phone which is on the Silent Mode that we remain silent on the coming danger?
Ate Nelids said “Christ will avenge the murder of the saints, " And martyrdom must be instilled in the mind of the Christian to prepare the Church of whatever possibilities that will come in the near future. Possible that that the Lord will allow persecution to the Filipino Church through BBL in the Philippines for the purpose of purification.”
During World War II, there was an economic disparity in the world because resources very scarce and it was used to produce weapons, artilleries and bombs.
The United Nations
An ancient saying on the mural of United Nations’ reception hall says like this, “
“And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.”
Obviously that is borrowed from Isaiah 2:4 when Christ will reign during Millennium.
The “righteous war” started when UN approved the independence of Israel. Eventually the time of God that have been halted for a while started ticking again. This particular time-clock of God was initiated by a Filipino, Carlos P. Romulo when he voted for Israel in November, 1947. From May 14, 1948 up to this coming May 14, 2018 is the 70 years of Israel’s Independence.
We opened the portal of yesterday for the future by the time we voted for Israel and that is given fact that we were instrumental in the continuing time-clock of God.
Israel evolution
Israel evolved with considerable paces of time. From a call of idolatrous man named Abram who worshipped the sun-god, Ishtar from land of Ur (Iraq) to become a peculiar and chosen nation of God, Israel speaks of a nation’s metamorphosis.
By the time that a man of faith named Abram was called to become a peculiar holy nation, he was misguided and went to Egypt instead. There he lied to the king saying that Sarai was his sister to save his own skin. Eventually he headed to the Promise Land. When famine struck the land, he again sought Egypt as his refuge. Until Joseph, the dreamer was born and became the most powerful man on earth, only next to Pharaoh. Joseph and his people multiplied exceedingly that next king of Egypt who knew not Joseph put the people of Israel in great bondage. It is from there that Moses was called and war between him and the Pharaoh began. When Moses brought his people out from Egypt crossing the Red Sea, the charioteers from Egypt pursued them. But God delivered them. The Jews were bodily set free from slavery but their minds were still made captive by the lures of Egypt. They grumbled against God because of water-issue leavings thousands dead in the wilderness. Due to stubbornness of their hearts many didn’t make it. By the time Joshua and Caleb and their generation crossed the River Jordan they have to pursued against the Jebusites, Canaanites, Amalekites and others to possess the land. The books of Joshua, 1 Kings and 2 Kings has a rich record of history of wars.
From being slaves, the Israelites were trained and metamorphosed as men of wars.
When Christ visited the temple He said that no single stone will be left undisturbed (Matthew 24:2) and by 70 A.D. His prophesy exactly came true when during the First Roman and Jewish War left the Second Temple laid it into complete waste; leaving over 1.1 people dead mostly Jewish during the time of Passover, while 97,000 enslaved were forced to become gladiators and most of them perished in the arena or colosseo; while the rest of children were sold as slaves according to Jewish historian Josephus.
This nation Israel has been on war ever since in the same thing that man is always be on war right now until tomorrow’s tomorrows unless the Prince of Peace will come to turn the swords into plowshares that there should be war no more (Isaiah 2:4; 9:6).
Mt. Carmel is a significant place in Israel. This is where a face off between King Ahab and Elijah, the prophet took place that led to the killings of Baal prophets. This is a story of war between an evil-inspired king and a servant of the Lord. Jezebel, the queen later declared Elijah persona non grata and enemy of the state.
Mt. Carmel will be like a view deck when War on Armageddon breaks out for the whole world to see.
So what John Allen wrote on “Global war on Christians” is not new anymore as he wrote that the government and religion shall advance their radical ideology.
The question is whether BBL once approved shall serve a “sword of Sophocles” against Christ and the Church as what Chief Justice Sereno said as well that the quo warranto against her is also as “sword of Sophocles” to the entire Judiciary?
We are now in an era when things are being done discreetly and Christians could hardly hear and discern what is right from evil. That is why the Seven Churches in Asia are constantly being warned, “Those who have ears let them hear what the Spirit is saying to the Churches..”
Remember what Chuck Pierce said, “Philippines, you have the authority to open doors, 2018 is the year of door, key, gates, authority and wars. Faith will move you to the threshold of the past to the future.”
(picture4)
The psalmist said, “Those who seek Me early shall find Me early.” And who know, today’s devotion could be tomorrow’s headline?
If this is inevitable, how can we prepare the Church, the School and the Cooperative to the coming threat of universal and infinity war? Again I repeat, the beginning is about to end and end has to begin. Infinity war has to be concluded by Christ alone.
To God be the Glory!
NOTES:
Christian Persecution
The persecution of Christians can be historically traced from the first century of the Christian era to the present day. Early Christians were persecuted for their faith at the hands of both Jews from whose religion Christianity arose and the Romans who controlled many of the lands across which early Christianity was spread. Early in the fourth century, a form of the religion was legalized by the Edict of Milan, and it eventually became the State church of the Roman Empire.
Christian missionaries as well as converts to Christianity have been the target of persecution ever since the emergence of Christianity, sometimes to the point of being martyred for their faith.
The schisms of the Middle Ages and especially the Protestant Reformation, sometimes provoked severe conflicts between Christian denominations to the point of persecuting each other.
In the 20th century, Christians have been persecuted by various groups, including the Islamic Ottoman Empire in the form of the Armenian Genocide, the Assyrian Genocide and the Greek Genocide, as well as atheistic states such as the Soviet Union and North Korea. During World War II members of some Christian churches were persecuted in Nazi Germany for resisting Nazi ideology.
In more recent times, the Christian missionary organization Open Doors (UK) estimates that 100 million Christians face persecution, particularly in Middle Eastern countries such as Pakistan and Saudi Arabia (Sources: "World Watch List-Countries", Open Doors; Open Doors: Archived 13 July 2012).
According to John Williams Charles Wand, “A History of the Early Church to AD 500” (1990)
early Christianity began as a sect among Second Temple Jews, and according to the New Testament account, Pharisees, including Paul of Tarsus prior to his conversion to Christianity, persecuted early Christians. The early Christians preached the second coming of a Messiah which did not conform to their religious teachings. However, feeling that their beliefs were supported by Jewish scripture, Christians had been hopeful that their countrymen would accept their faith. Despite individual conversions, the vast majority of Judean Jews did not become Christians.
Sword of Damocles
Damocles (‘'fame of the people') is a figure featured in a single moral anecdote commonly referred to as "the Sword of Damocles" an allusion to the imminent and ever-present peril faced by those in positions of power. Damocles was an obsequious courtier in the court of Dionysius II of Syracuse, a 4th-century BC tyrant of Syracuse, Sicily.
The anecdote apparently figured in the lost history of Sicily by Timaeus of Tauromenium (c. 356–260 BC). The Roman orator Cicero may have read it in the texts of Greek historian Diodorus Siculus. He used it in his Tusculanae Disputationes, 5. 61,
According to the story, Damocles was pandering to Dionysius, his king, and exclaimed to him that Dionysius was truly fortunate as a great man of power and authority, surrounded by magnificence. In response, Dionysius offered to switch places with Damocles for one day so that Damocles could taste that very fortune firsthand. Damocles quickly and eagerly accepted the king's proposal. Damocles sat down in the king's throne surrounded by every luxury, but Dionysius arranged that a huge sword should hang above the throne, held at the pommel only by a single hair of a horse's tail. Damocles finally begged the king that he be allowed to depart because he no longer wanted to be so fortunate, realizing that with great fortune and power comes also great danger according to Cicero and Westall.
