When darkness falls

Wise men speak because they have something to say;

fools because they have to say something – Plato

Today

Today at 3:00 A.M. on June 6, 2018 (Wednesday), I read Revelation 21:5/ ISV that reads, “ Its gates will never be shut at the end of the day—because there will be no night there.

There is no night in the Kingdom of God?

(picture2)

Earlier today

Earlier today and that was yesterday; Tuesday; June 5, 2018 in a prayer meeting in Dagupan I shared this verse that says, “I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work,” no less from the mouth of the Lord Jesus Christ who stated that in John 9:4. I put a title to that as “Midnight Deal.”

Again, that is a time element called “night.”

I quoted that verse which was inspired from the Senate approval of BBL with a vote of 21, 0 one hour after midnight i.e. 1am; May 31, 2018 (Thursday) right after the House of Congress also approved the same bill at 5:07 pm (on my watch) Wednesday right there and then at the House of Representatives in Quezon City on May 30, 2018 with a vote of 221, 11, 0 as yes, no and abstain.

(picture3)

Why Senate approved BBL one hour after midnight when nearly everyone is dosed to sleep? Why darkness flees when light dawns? Is it because the dark is afraid to the light.

In Matthew 13:25, Jesus said that the enemy sowed tares at night time when people were asleep.

The next day

The next day, Philippine Star dated June 7, 2018 reads, "National ID," at the Congress and Duterte's threat for "emergency power." Combining these two is truly scary (only if you are historically-inclined for what the future may bring).

The National ID can be used for warrantless and mass arrest because of abuse of authority just like in the Dark Ages of Imperial Cult when Augustus Caesar's reforms transformed Rome's Republican (Rule of law) system of government to a de facto monarchy.

(picture4)

Imperial Cult refers to the ‘dictatorial power” of the Emperor in ancient Rome that ended to the persecution of Christians and other “enemy of the state” through the aid of legislation by the Roman Senate. Will it be possible that “emergency power “ be used as well against any oppositionist and be branded as “enemy of the state?”

It also reminds me the Time Magazine’s cover that reads, “Night falls in the Philippines” The article was written by Rishi Iyengar who “looked into the scope of the government’s campaign against illegal drugs, providing insights from both supporters and critics of the administration.”

Night falls on the Philippines” is “about the tragic cost of President Duterte’s ‘War on drugs,’ read the title of the cover, which featured a body of an alleged drug dealer whose face was fully covered with packing tape,” Philstar writes dated September 17, 2016

And to date, there is 22,983 deaths under inquiry since drug war launched according to the PNP report as reported by Cecille Suerte Felipe of The Philippine Star dated June 11, 2018. Perhaps even higher without yet the other unrecorded drug-related deaths.

(picture5)

Are they victims of injustice and anarchy? Is it all these reported drug-related death cases were properly and legally documented and arraigned in the court? If NOT, then we are NOW in the dangerous time when darkness looms and night creeps. Then Time Magazine may be speaking loud and clear.

Without rule of law, there is anarchy (lawlessness). When there is lawlessness, then there will be human right violations leading to countless death. When there is innocent death because of the absence of due process (law, Bill of Rights), then there is a presence of “son of perdition” (Greek “apoleia” i.e. destruction, death, hell) as mentioned in John 17:12.

Condemnation and justification are technical words that are being used by the Rules of Court (Matthew 12:37; Romans 8:33-34). And everyone must be given due process and equal protection of law (Article III, Bill of Rights, Philippine Constitution).

A democratic and republican Government like that of the Philippines has no right to deter such right nor violate it.

But once this Rule of Law is assailed and trampled upon then the whole nation will be doomed to chaos, destruction and death. The same is true when a true blooded-Christian violates the Bible which is the Supreme Law of the entire Universe from all forces of Satanic and demonic power. In the same way, the Philippine Constitution is the sole immunity of the Filipino people from coercion and lawlessness especially from abusive political tyranny and dictatorship.

Something to say

The Greek philosopher Plato said, “Wise men speak because they have something to say; fools because they have to say something.”

With this I have something to say.

Do not underestimate what you think, write or say because you have to power to make it real (Genesis 1:3; James 3:1-5). “Death and life are in the power of the tongue,” says the wisest man, Solomon (Proverbs 18:21).

And when you
write it down it is even more statutory because it become a decree that becomes final and executory like Court Decision (Rev. 21:5). Jesus Christ said to John at Patmos, “Write! referring to what he saw from the vision. “Write” in Greek “grapho” refers to a “record” or “sacred books.” Moses called it Law.

(picture6)

Night

The word “night” is first mentioned in Genesis 1:5 when He called “darkness” as night. Night and darkness is therefore inseparable. They work in pair.

While the “night” is noun, “darkness” is an adjective which is the description or character of the night. Genesis 1:5b says, “and the darkness he called Night.”

Webster defined darkness as “devoid or partially devoid of light; evil; the dark powers that lead to war; a dark room; grim or depressing circumstances.” It is also means “gloomy “ or “obscure.” In other words, darkness is personification of the devil.

Strong Bible Dictionary define “darkness” from the Hebrew word “choshek.”

Night from the Hebrew word “layil” means “night (as opposed to day); gloom or protective shadow (figuratively). James Strong define it as “twist (as away from the light); night figuratively, an adversity. It derived from root word,”lul” meaning, “a staircase, winding stair, shaft or enclosed pace with steps or ladder; to fold back.”

Night, darkness and death are inter-related in the Greek culture, language and religious beliefs.

Psalmist David once mentioned the word “shadow of death” in Psalm 23:4 that says, “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. “

God allows us to walk through that scary valley yet God assured us that no one can touch us as we remain in Him.

Darkness
Darkness in Genesis 1:5 describes the night.

From the word “choshek” (kho-shek), darkness means “darkness, obscurity, secret place.” Strong define it as “darkness, misery, destruction, death, ignorance, sorrow, wickedness, dark (-ness), night.” From the root word, “chashak” (khaw-shak) i.e. “to be or to become dark; grow dim; be darkened; be back, be hidden.” James Strong calls it, “to be dark (as withholding light).

Oxford defined darkness as “the partial or total absence of light; wickedness and evil.”

The word “darkness was first mentioned in Genesis 1:2, “And darkness was upon the face of the deep.”

Darkness threatening

Former Chief Justice Reynato Puno warns, ‘Darkness’ threatening PH democracy,” according to Mar S. Arguelles of Inquirer dated April 25, 2015.

The question is whether the quo warranto against the former Chief Justice is a form of darkness that destroyed the foundation of democracy of this nation?

Is it the Justices or the Judiciary themselves destroyed our Rule of Law in the form of quo warranto that violates the Constitution?

(picture7)

Is it the Supreme Court is now a dark room” as Webster defines it? Who will then the credible institution that can interpret our law now? Psalm 11:3 says, “If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do? “

The 44,000 lawyers-members of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) appealed for the reversal of the Supreme Court ruling on quo warranto vs. the former Chief Justice in an argument that the honourable justices did “misuse the law” and thus “erodes, if not demolishes the Rule of Law” or the Constitution which is the democratic foundation of the nation.

Night falls to the Philippines?

If the Constitution is grossly violated no less than the most credible independent branch of the government which is the Judiciary, would not be that too scary as if we are now in the dark? Is it night falls on the Philippines as Time Magazine written (decreed) prophetically?

Is it darkness falls now to the entire nation of the Philippines? If night falls what will happen to us?

Night and darkness (Biblical Perspective)

Night and darkness are inseparable as I have written earlier. Night is a noun while darkness is an adjective. The adjective darkness merely describes the character of the night.

What is night and darkness in the context of Biblical perspective and in the Greek culture where the New Testament have taken into form?

Nyx or Nux is the Greek goddess of the night and death according to John 9:4 which was spoken from the very mouth of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Nyx is primordial deity, titan in Greek mythology She is the personification of the night; daughter of Chaos; the sister of Tartarus (hell, hades); whose children includes Nemesis, the goddess of revenge; Hypnos, the goddess of slumber or sleep or apathy; and Thanatos, the Greek goddess of death. Nyx official residence is Tartarus. And Tartarus is described also as abyss, the abode of the dead.

The night is related to hell (Matthew 5:22 “gehenna”; Matthew 16:18 “Hades,” the god of wealth and the underworld).

I watched from the YouTube whereas former Chief Justice Reynato Puno, a respected member of United Methodist Church (UMC) who was appointed by President Duterte as Chair to a certain Committee that is tasked for Constitutional Amendments to our present 1987 Philippine Constitution. Puno mentioned the oppositionists called Federalism as leap to hell”. Obviously Puno is referring to the person seated on right side, no less than a former Chief Justice also, Hon., Hilario Davide, a committed Catholic. Federalism is just one among present administration’s priority bill. Malacanan is lobbying strongly Federalism to fit in to BBL. Puno said in jest, that he has not been yet to hell.

The change of our democratic form of government to Federalism is for Bangsamoro Basic Law (BBL) to fit in as “constitutionally sound.” This is the only remedy for BBL to aid is constitutional flaws.

But Mindanao particularly Davao is where the treasure is. Hades is called as the Greek goddess of wealth or underworld referring to the mineral deposits underneath the earth. There is estimated $1-Trillion worth of treasures in Mindanao alone such as gold, copper, silver and other minerals and metals. Is it BBL’s aim is not only Islamization but for the gold (hades) as well?

Davide could be right then when he said Federalism is indeed a “leap to hell” because of the love of money or precious hidden deposits underneath Mindanao. Should President Duterte signs BBL as law what will be the next spiritual landscape of the Philippines?

(picture9)

The so-called “sleepy and dead” Church of Ephesus has the characteristics and manifestation of Hypnos and Thanatos as Paul puts it in Ephesians 5:14 and only Christ can give her light.

Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light – Ephesians 5:14

That could be the reason as well why Senate approved BBL the past midnight or night last May 31, 2018. The night is characterizes with darkness.

What the Congress and Senate have done is
not new however. Haman and some astrologers of Chaldeans used human decree to terminate the Jews and destroy the plan of God to the nation (Esther 3:8-9; Daniel 3:8). Demonic hierarchy of power is well explained by Paul in Ephesians 6:12. Satan will not settle for less without picking a fight as Paul stressed that this demonic hierarchy is very much determinedly alive and well.

Conspiracy of the nations and the heads of the nations always exhibit the anti-Christ spirit to veer away the people from the Living God (Psalm 2:1-4). But God will simply laugh at them?”

(picture10)

Sleepy church

Pastor Ed Ge Guzman on his text message to me last March 8, 2018 reads, “I affirm your participation in Congress. Thanks for standing for the destiny. For God's glory and destiny for the Philippines and to our generation. Your call is not bound for circumstances. “

I firmly believe that when the church is sleepy to the social issues that govern them, then the Church will fail. The affairs of the state doesn't belong to the government alone, the church alone has the absolute power to legislate them.

Distinction

God simply makes a great distinction for a purpose.

God commanded Moses to practice separation among His people. In Leviticus 15:31, “Thus shall ye separate the children of Israel from their uncleanness; that they die not in their uncleanness, when they defile my tabernacle that is among them. “ Separation or distinction is necessary to stop the spreading of uncleanness like a plague.

Paul said the same thing in 2 Corinthians 6:17, “Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, “

God simply divided the night from the day to put a distinction. Genesis 1:14a says, “And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night..

Light and darkness can never be mixed up. These are separate entities. Divide in Hebrew “badal” (baw-dal) means “to set apart; to make a distinction; to be excluded.” What is the purpose?

Genesis 1:14b gave the answer that says, “and let them be for signs.” It says for “signs” from Hebrew “oth” meaning “a signal, omen or evidence.” It is a distinction between the day and night; a distinction between light and darkness; a distinction between good and evil; a distinction or evidence for what is right from the wrong.

Is it the nation and the Church today can recognize what is light from the dark?

But life begins from light. Life is always associated with the light. And life begins from the spoken word. “Let there is light!” And Christ is the light of this world (John 1:4; 8:12)

Read this

This was published by Federico D. Pascual Jr, POSTCRIPT, entitled, “Change is upon us: Moral bar lowered,” in Philippine Star dated June 7, 2018.

Among those in the mostly Filipino crowd gathered for President Duterte’s speech was Cil Borlaza, identified as an expat in South Korea on her final year for a PhD under a Korean government scholarship. She said Monday on Facebook writes,

I don’t usually post politically related stuff on social media but this was borderline traumatic for me. In his speech, our President used foul words so many times that I’ve lost count. He pulled perverted jokes several times (even used the word ‘libog’). He made remarks about pretty ladies who performed, as if bragging about his womanizing skills. He even kissed someone on the lips. This was extremely difficult to watch. But, it was heartbreaking to see my fellow countrymen cheering. Every curse, every perverted joke, every ‘papatayin ko talaga sila’ remark was received with applause and cheering. Mga kababayan, this is how far we’ve gone. This is how terrible our judgments have become. I’m utterly disappointed and disgusted. It’s painful to be represented by him. I wish Filipinos would have some amount of self-worth. This is not the kind of representation we deserve!”

If I may repeat again my question earlier. Can this nation and the Church today can recognize what is light from the dark? But sometimes is only when it is dark that you can see the light

Ezekiel 22:26-29 reads:

Her priests have violated my law, and have profaned mine holy things: they have put no difference between the holy and profane, neither have they shewed difference between the unclean and the clean, and have hid their eyes from my sabbaths, and I am profaned among them. 27  Her princes in the midst thereof are like wolves ravening the prey, to shed blood, and to destroy souls, to get dishonest gain. 28  And her prophets have daubed them with untempered morter, seeing vanity, and divining lies unto them, saying, Thus saith the Lord GOD, when the LORD hath not spoken. 29  The people of the land have used oppression, and exercised robbery, and have vexed the poor and needy: yea, they have oppressed the stranger wrongfully. “

The 4-Ps

The 4-P’s gave God a great displeasure.

The 4-P’s which includes us in today’s application refers to the Priests (like the Church) , Princes (government), prophets (messengers of God) and the people (our countrymen).

We have failed to separate the holy from the profane . We have not put any difference between the clean and the unclean. We failed to see the distinction of light and the dark. Should darkness falls to this nation?

God said to His servant Ezekiel that even today’s Church placed His prophets in jest, scorn and ridicule in the likes of Sadhu Selvaraj and others,

And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none. 31  Therefore have I poured out mine indignation upon them; I have consumed them with the fire of my wrath: their own way have I recompensed upon their heads, saith the Lord GOD,” – Ezekiel 22:30-31

If God did not spare the natural olive tree, what more to those who were merely grafted in like us as Gentiles. Will darkness falls to the Philippines?

(picture11)

Separation from darkness

2 Corinthians 6:14 -17, “Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 15  And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? 16  And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.”

This distinction of separation will aggravate more as time goes on to the End Times. As we come nearer to the end of the age, even the laws of the land will be potentially very wicked to persecute the just. The anti-Christ spirit will become evident because the lawmaking-body of the land like Congress or Senate will pass a bill that will reject and terminate the Lordship of Christ to turn away Christian believers from their faith just like in the time of Ottoman Empire

Is it BBL is like a modern Ottoman Empire that will soon displace Christianity on this land? Is it the lower and higher Congress i.e. is the House of Representatives and the Philippine Senate committed spiritual treason to God when they approved the Bangsamoro Basic Law (BBL) last May 30 and May 31 at 1:00 am in the spirit of Greek goddess Nyx or Night to displace Christ in this once dubbed as the only “Christian Nation in Southeast Asia?”

BBL as a religious faith is now by the virtue of legislation in the like of Emperor of Rome when the Roman Senate drafted a law giving him the highest honours of Pontifex Maximus (Highest Priest) and the “Son of God” which is a form of Imperial Cult. Is the lawmakers violated Article II, Section 6, “The separation of the Church and the State shall be inviolable.”

Meanwhile on March 19, 2018, while inside the Committee Hearing at the House of Representatives where the Filipino “same-sex” marriage bill known as “Civil Partnership” or HB 6595 have been held from for deliberations and amendments on its provisions, God gave me Revelation 22:11 in a very faint voice saying:

He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still, ” - Revelation 22:11 (See Notes on Rev. 22:11)

When darkness falls we will soon get up from the bed and see everything blurred and devoid of light. It is because the night, the goddess Nyx is here and the Church has failed. Because the church is fast asleep. As the Proverbs goes –

Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep – Proverbs 6:10

And sleep in Greek, Hypnos is a personification of the night, the dark and the dead (Greek god, Thanatos).

(picture12)

Dangerous Times

Paul wrote to Timothy concerning the dangerous or perilous times

2 Timothy 3:1 -5, “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. :2  For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,  4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; 5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

Perilous Greek “chalepos” means “dangerous and furious.” What tragedy would that be when the watchman of the Lord found them sleeping when He comes? (Matthew 24:46). Readiness is a sign of fervour to the Lord.

Counterattack

Counterattack against dangerous times have been provided by the Lord in Acts 2:17-18

And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: 18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy.”

But sad to say that the Spirit of the Lord have been replaced by the Church’s rhetoric agenda, plans and activities which may be potentially demonic inspired to veer away the believers from their first love (Rev. 2:4)

Day and light

In Genesis 1:5, “day” in Hebrew “yom” means “day, time, year (as opposed to the night); it is a division of time; a working day; a day’s journey.”

It is therefore, not good to “to walk or work in the night-time” when darkness falls. I talk figuratively on darkness or night such as when you are confused, feeling low, or in a cross-road. Hecate is the Greek goddess of the cross-road.

The character or element of day is light. From the etymological meaning “or” which means “light; light of the day; light of heavenly luminaries (moon, sun, stars).” James Strong says, “illumination or luminary (in every sense including lightning, happiness, etc); bright, clear and day; morning sun.”

When the things that man do is done on a broad daylight it speaks of honesty, openness and transparency. He hides nothing in the dark. In a sense, he is true or truthful.

Rev. 22:16, “I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star. “

2 Cor. 4:1-4, , “1Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not; 2  But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God. 3  But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: 4  In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. “

Isaiah 60:1-3, “1Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.   For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. 3 And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.”

Remember this. No darkness can hide in the light. No light can ever exist in the middle of the dark. When light comes, darkness falls and flees. Darkness can never stand against the light.

Jesus said, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life,’ (John 8:12).

Matthew 5:16, “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”

Therefore, when darkness fall, stand there as a light until the night flees. And only the light shall determine what darkness is.

NOTES:

De facto

In law and government, de facto describes practices that exist in reality, even if not legally recognised by official laws. It is commonly used to refer to what happens in practice, in contrast with de jure, which refers to things that happen according to law. Unofficial customs that are widely accepted are sometimes called de facto standards.”

Belial

Belial in Deut. 13:13; Judges 19:22; 1 Samuel 1:16; 2 Chronicles 13:7, “Beliya’al” means “worthlessness; unprofitable; wicked, ruin; destruction.” According to Strong “Belial is evil, naughty, wicked and ungodly.”

Ottoman Empire

The same is true when the Ottoman Empire conquered Asia Minor under the tutelage of Constantine, the Christian Emperor of ancient Rome. Many believers of the Lord fell to the great falling away to avoid persecution. The same will be true in the near future which is just at hand especially when we are left unguarded in prayer and in our zeal to the true Living God.

Current News

Some of the current news are being posted below in order for us to understand how this spirit of night and spirit of darkness works”

Duterte’s drug war on Time magazine cover

Janvic Mateo (The Philippine Star) - September 17, 2016 - 12:00am

MANILA, Philippines - The Duterte administration’s deadly war on drugs has landed on the cover of the Asia edition of TIME magazine.

Night falls on the Philippines: The tragic cost of President Duterte’s war on drugs,” read the title of the cover, which featured a body of an alleged drug dealer whose face was fully covered with packing tape.

The article – written by Rishi Iyengar – looked into the scope of the government’s campaign against illegal drugs, providing insights from both supporters and critics of the administration.

It also underscored the effects of the campaign, such as the death of over 3,000 people including more than 1,500 in drug-related police operations and overcrowding in jails due to the surrender of more than 700,000 drug personalities.

The poor in the barangays – as the smallest units of municipal organization in the Philippines are called – pay the highest price,” Iyengar wrote.

In these impoverished communities, children play beside open sewers, families often share one room, and, for a few people, shabu is an escape – both psychologically and financially,” the writer added.

The article also provided an outline on the effects of the anti-drug campaign on the administration’s foreign relations, citing the recent tussle between Duterte and other international leaders such as US President Barack Obama and United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, who both raised concerns about extrajudicial killings in the Philippines.

The TIME magazine cover is the latest of pieces released by international publications on Duterte’s war on drugs.

The New York Times earlier released an editorial cartoon depicting Duterte holding a shoulder-launched weapon aimed at a wormy apple on the head of a frightened man.

British newspaper The Guardian also published an editorial comparing Duterte’s anti-drug war to the failed campaign in Thailand in 2003 that resulted in the death of some 2,800 people, half of whom were later found to have no connection to illegal drugs.

IBP: Supreme Court must reverse ruling on quo warranto

Ousted Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno herself filed a motion for reconsideration on the May 11 ruling last May 30. Court insiders said that the SC may release the ruling on her appeal on June 19. - Edd Gumban

MANILA, Philippines — The Supreme Court’s ruling that granted the quo warranto petition against former Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno was a misuse of the law, the Integrated Bar of the Philippines said.

With due respect, the Honorable Court’s narrowly drawn ruling shows the use of the law to pursue a desired result, that is, the ouster of the chief justice. This erodes, if not demolishes, the Rule of Law for which all members of the bar are sworn to uphold,” read the 14-page appeal that the IBP filed on Monday.

The 40,000-member group of lawyers sought the reversal of the SC’s May 11 decision that nullified Sereno’s appointment as chief justice in 2012.

The Philippines' hard-earned freedom seems to be threatened by human rights  violations and territorial affronts, Vice President Leni Robredo said Tuesday as the country marked its 120th Independence Day.

"Sa panahon ngayon, tila humaharap na naman ang ating kalayaan sa iba't ibang mukha ng panganib: mula sa paglaganap ng kahirapan kasabay ng pagtaas ng presyo ng mga bilihin hanggang sa kawalan ng hustisya; mula sa pagsasantabi ng karapatang pantao hanggang sa pag-angkin sa ating mga teritoryo ng dayuhang pwersa," Robredo said in a statement.

They would check our containers and pick our best catch. We can’t do anything,” Cejuela said in Filipino.

What is Behind Revelation 22:11

On May 19, 2019, during the Fourth Committee Hearing on Civil Partnership (HB 6595), God gave me Revelation 22:11 when I was a part among the lawmakers in the House of Representatives who made some amendments on the said bill. The Lord’s Message reads:

Revelation 22:11, “He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. “

I was thinking of the thought like “What am I doing here?” But sitting down with the lawmakers in crafting a bill together with the legal counsels and heads of various government agencies in the like of DOLE, DoJ, PSA, DSWD, NYC suggests something.

Present then were the following
Representative Members: Reps. Herrera-Dy, Geraldine Roman, Kaka Bag-o; Gwendolyn Garcia, Villarica, Gabriel Bordardo; Rosanna Vergara, Raneo Abu, Maria Lourdez Aggabao, to name some of them who are a part of the Committee.

While the Resource Speakers are as follows: Anita Balida of Commission on Women, Atty. Rosalyn Reclaro of DSWD, Atty. Fajardo of PSA, UE Professor Obed dela Cruz; Chair of Youth Commission, Aisa Seguerra; Atty. Cayabyab of CHR; Bishop Daniel A. Balais whom I am representing, Mrs. Tatad of CBCP to name a few.

That I is like a part of the lawmaking body - the Congress to put a distinction what is right from the wrong on the provisions of House Bill 6595 or “Civil Partnership.” My Position Paper on HB 6595 was taken into serious considerations because it pointed out the bill’s constitutional flaws and infirmities that requires an amendment.

During the session, I texted one evangelical Christian present in the Committee with these messages given below:

  • Peps : Shall I speak on the irregularities of the provisions of HB 6595?

  • Obetd : For me, I do not want to cure the defects of this bill

  • Peps: Yes. In order for the Supreme Court to disapprove the bill due to its constitutional flaws?

What am I doing there in the Congress?

What am I doing there in the Congress (if I may asked again)?

Then I remember this event when this particular pastor is about to board his plane back to Davao while the passenger’s plane engine is on waiting for him to get on board. He said in prayer and prophesied:

The Lord is saying to me that your voice is so faint that it could hardly heard. But the Lord is saying now that He will increase your voice and your voice will be heard in the corridors of power.”

That was the prayer and the prophetic words of a former pastor who now currently works in Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) and a former spokesperson of Malacanan. He is Ernesto “Ernie” Abella who prophesied to me sometime from 1992-1993.
