You don’t change the law of marriage. Marriage should change you.

Among the thorns

Last September 18, 2019 (Wednesday) at 8:30 A.M., Daily Devotion goes like this:

The seed that fell among the thorns represents others who hear God’s word, 19 but all too quickly the message is crowded out by the worries of this life, the lure of wealth, and the desire for other things, so no fruit is produced,” - Mark 4:18-19/ New Living Translation (NLT)

When I was still young, such saying is often referred to a woman in the middle of men. Often rose represents a woman while thorns represent men (who often chase a girl to court with).

The term can be used to mean “anything nice found among not-so-nice things. You might say that someone is "a rose among thorns" if everyone around them is either unpleasant or incompetent according to ttps://www.answers.com.

Thorn” Greek “akantha” i.e. bramble, thorn, bush, brier, a thorny plant (Thayer). Origin “akmen i.e. a point, extremity, climax, acme, highest degree, the present time; accusative case of a noun; adverbially just now, that is, still. “

Cares” Greek “merimna,” i.e. care, anxiety (Thayer). Strong: idea of distraction solicitude, care. Originally “merizo” i.e. “to divide, to separate into parts; cut into pieces, to divide into parties; to be split into. Strong to apportion, to disunite, distribute, give part, divide.

Women degraded

Is it our women degraded already?

My first encounter with SOGI Bill at the Committee of Women in the House of Representatives sometime on August, 2014 I had this question in mind,

Why would women is degrading their dignity

and ranks themselves among those in the marginalized group of LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) and adopted such controversial bill.

SOGI before in the House of Representatives now reads SOGIE Bill under Senate Bill (S.B.) No. 412 or “Sexual Orientation or Gender Identity or Expression” which is introduced by Senator Imee R. Marcos. It is also the same bill where we had our deliberation in the Senate last September 4, 2019 (Wednesday) which was chaired by Sen. Risa Hontiveros and with then Sen. Imee Marcos and Sen. Nancy Binay, all of them women.

So when I was invited again for another different interpolation at the Senate this September 17, 2019 (Tuesday) regarding the following bills: Senate Bill No. 67; SB Nos. 288 & 356; and SB No. 504, I asked myself again:

(picture2)

Why women again under the Committee of Women is moving “heaven-and-hell” to change the very foundation of the family enshrined in Genesis Chapter Two?

Scripture says:

And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh,” - Genesis 2:22-24

Is it women are thorns among men?

Why Committee of Women both in the Lower House and the Higher House seek to dilute the meaning of Gender, Marriage and Family? Are they meant to be a replica of what the Scriptures has written?

  • the fall of marriage and family through Eve (Genesis 3:1-4)

  • the fall of Samson through a woman Delilah (Judges 16:19)

  • the fall of the nations through a whore, called a “mother of harlots” name Jezebel (Rev. 17:5)

It is often the said that the strength of the man lies from the woman? But Scriptures also said the fall of a man comes from a woman.

Would these bills are related to the end-time prophesies and to the coming of the one-government system, one-religion system, one economic system under the reign of anti-Christ?

First Institution

Man and woman are the first institution that God has ordained. He said that “it is not good that a man should be alone.” There God provided man a “help meet for him,” (Genesis 2:18).

Help-meet from Hebrew “ezer”means “help” or “aid.” A woman is designed to help the man not to destroy a man. A woman must secure her man which includes her relationship with him.

God has provided marriage (Genesis 34:9) a sacred matrimony for man and woman (Matthew 22:2).

Marriage

Marriage in Greek “gamos” means “a wedding feast” or “matrimony” or “nuptials.” It also means “to espouse” i.e. “a daughter to a husband” in Greek word “gamisko” (Mark 12:25). Another Greek word “ekgamisko” which means “to give away in marriage” (Luke 20:34).

Marriage is instituted by God not by men nor by the State. Marriage is a biblical term. Therefore, marriage cannot be legislated. Marriage or Family once legislated encroaches beyond its boundary violating the “Separation of the State and the Church” which is considered “inviolable.”

Far from the truth

The earthy, human marriage personify the “Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ” which is called “Marriage of the Lamb” in Revelation 19:7. it is meant as “forever.” The Scripture’s description on marriage is on contrary to the Senate Bills Nos. 288 & 356, “ Instituting Absolute Divorce and Dissolution of Marriage” which are being authored by two lady-senators Pia Cayetano and Risa Hontiveros.

Those bills are far from the truth from the main Author and Source of Marriage no less than God Himself.

Marriage meant for keeps and it must not to be diluted or dissolved just like a chemical reaction or changing the original composition as defined by humans in the form of bill entitled, “Dissolution of Marriage.” Marriage is a special form of bond as described by Executive Order EO 209, S. 1987 by then President Corazon Aquino that says:

Article 1. “Marriage is a special contract of permanent union between a man and a woman entered into in accordance with law for the establishment of conjugal and family life. It is the foundation of the family and an inviolable social institution whose nature, consequences, and incidents are governed by law and not subject to stipulation, except that marriage settlements may fix the property relations during the marriage within the limits provided by this Code.”

From the point of view of our Constitution, Filipino marriage is unattackable by the proposed bills authored by the lady senators.

Feeling

one’s feeling nor perception cannot change who you truly are. Just like in the case of SOGIE Bill, the bill is being pushed as a law according to “perception” and “feeling.” When a biologically boy feels he is a girl then he should be adopting a female gender. What if a girl feels she is a male-cow, would the Bill can absorbs that since the so-called “LGBT” or “lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender” is being pushed at “LGBT +++++”

And what does “ +++++ “ or plus, plus, plus means? It is “unlimited power” or “unlimited feeling or perception.”

Is it legislation is on the basis of one’s feeling and NOT by the rule of law,” which I said in the SOGIE Hearing last September 4, 2019 at the Senate under the authorship and being chaired by Senator Lisa Hontiveros.

God’s basis in creating one’s gender is not only universal truth but genetically scientific and not on the basis of feeling or perception.

Gender

Your gender speaks of your generation or genealogy or family. Your gender reveals the origin or genesis of your own family as well (Matthew 1:1).

Genesis 6:9/NLT, “This is the account of Noah and his family. Noah was a righteous man the only blameless person living on earth a \t the time, and he walked in close fellowship with God.”

KJV reads, “These are the generations of Noah: Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.”

Generations” in Hebrew “toledah” means “descendants, genealogies, course of history of creation, genealogical list of one’s descendants.” Strong define it “descent, family, birth.” The word, “toledah” is derived from the root word “yalad” which means “gender” (Genesis 5:1)

Gender in the likes of what the SOGIE Bill proposed or defined is therefore cannot be legislated because one’s sex is generated and divinely legislated at birth. We call that in “inherit rights” by the UN Human Rights which is often misinterpreted as “human rights.” While Human Rights can be legislated, “inherit rights” cannot be legislated because it is inborn and natural. The Law of Nature defines inherit rights. Inherent according to Thesaurus means “belonging to the basic nature of someone or something” or “the constitutional or essential character of something.” So when a babe is born be male or female its genetics defines it as boy or girl according to its DNA.

The LGBT proponents often defend the SOGIE Bill with an argument that male “gay’ is trapped in a boy body so he strongly defends the SOGIE Bill to be a girl.

But another definition of “generations” in Hebrew “dor” (dore) means “the dwelling place” or “habitation,” (Genesis 9:12; 15:16). So you can’t be a “girl” trapped in a “boy’s body.”

God can not never make a mistake in His creation. When He created the first man Adam, He said it is "very good," (Genesis 1:26, 31). Every human individual is distinct and uniquely created by God and each one us is divinely declared as “wonderfully made” by God (Psalm 139:14). And “one’s perception” nor “one’s feelings” cannot change that genetically and divinely legislated gender contrary to the SOGIE Bill’s provision provides.

Leviticus 20:5/KJV “Then I will set my face against that man and against his family…”

Family” Hebrew “mishpachah” (mish-paw-khaw) i.e. family, tribe, people, nation, species, kind, species, tribe or people.

The SOGIE Bill under Senate Bill Nos. 159, 412 & 689 therefore distorts one’s God-given gender eventually distorts and perverts the origin of family, generation and descendants. Will this Bill once approved is what Book of Revelation 17:1-5 that speaks on “globalized and legalized immorality” that will be adopted by the world’s leaders, rulers and kings?

Shall these bills legalize and authorize in amending the science of etymology?

Etymologically

Etymology is the science of the origin of the words. And from the time I graduated from college up to now, I often remember what our professor said, “Read the book according to what the author convey to the reader.”

We must not simply try to understand and interpret it by ourselves other what the author try to communicate. The same truth applies in the study of the origin of the word.

The word “marriage” is authored by one of the most prolific writer and lawmaker, none other than Moses. Is there any book that pertains to marriage which is older than Moses’ Book of Genesis?

Genesis 34:9/ KJV, “And make ye marriages with us, and give your daughters unto us, and take our daughters unto you. “

Marriages from Hebrew “chathan” (khaw-than) means “to become a son-in-law; make oneself a daughter’s husband; father-in-law, mother-in-law; to make oneself a daughter’s husband. Strong: to give away in marriage, to contract affinity by marriage.”

Wayne Bedwell (2012) writes, “Biblical Marriage, both family marriages and as applied to Jesus Christ, Yeshua ha Mashiach. In both we saw a pattern of the match, the betrothal period, and the culmination or consummation. Lat the several marriages the LORD has had with His chosen people over the years. Try to identify each by the pattern of the match, the betrothal period, and the culmination or consummation. If you read again the scriptures that tie one of the LORD's early marriages with the future marriage of Jesus Christ, Yeshua ha Mashiach. Please turn to Jeremiah 31. (Jer 31:31-33 NKJV) "Behold, the days are coming, says the LORD, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah; {32} "not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, though I was a husband to them, says the LORD. {33} "But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the LORD: I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.”

Earthy Marriage foretells a future marriage with God. Even God Jehovah is married to a nation called “
Israel.”

Then why corrupts the word “marriage” other than what the Divine Author would like to convey? Would that be a “
historical revisionism?”

The word “marriage” is not a political term. Marriage is a religious term that pertains God and man and between God and nation. Do lawmakers today is guilty of historical revisionism?” Would that be “corrupting” a word?

Historical Revisionism

Revising a word or words is not new to us as children of truth. Paul already mentioned that in 2 Corinthians 2:17 saying:

For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.

Satan attempted to misquote the Scripture also in Matthew Chapter 4:5-6 when the enemy said to Christ, their face-off” encounter:

Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple, 6 And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. “

Christ rebuked Satan for his derogatory used of sacred words of God and He said to the enemy in Matthew 4:7:

It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

When God tells the truth, Satan twists it and change it? Will that be the same in the deliberations among the lawmakers today?

The ancient serpent masterminded the masterpiece of lies and deception from the time of creation.

Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? “ Genesis 3:1

Why the serpent asked Eve in the form of question? To create doubt and uncertainty? To distrust what the God the Almighty has previously commanded to them with Adam? Or to stir up controversy?

Would that be historical revisionism? Revisionism, would it have ill-effects in today’s widely acceptable words such as “
evolvement?” They say that “words” are evolving today in more various meanings just in the same why that virus and bacteria evolves or develops into much a stronger strain of epidemic.

In my case, I used the question mark often to avoid legal litigation. In the form of speech or media, a given statement can be used against you criminally. However, if words are said in the form of a question, we will not incur any legal liability.

Revisionism is far away from the truth.

Truth vs. revisionism

Truth and revisionism, which one should be believe on?

Historical revisionism is the means by which the historical record – the history of a society, as understood in its collective memory – continually integrates new facts and interpretations of the events commonly understood as history, about which the historian and American Historical Association member James M. McPherson, said:

Man and Woman, Marriage, Matrimony and Family has rich historical Scriptural origin and meaning. Shall we revise them to suit our personal needs and interests to fit in to what we call “law” today in terms of “SOGIE, Gender Equality, Absolute Marriage or Dissolution of Marriage” to name a few?

Truth is constant. It never changes. A word can be amended, perverted or corrupted but take a very strong consideration of the root word because it imperils the original message of the messenger or author.

Christ said “I am the Truth,” (John 14:6). And the Word of God remains true forever. God will remain constant, true, right and just. He said, “Heavens and earth shall pass away but my words will never pass away,” (Matthew 24:35).

Law of God

The law of God can never be reversed nor amended. It is the law of God that governs the whole universe, be heaven or on earth (Genesis 1:1-3; Psalms 19:1-9; John 1:1-3).

Men and the whole universe ceases but never the Word of God. Then who are we as earthling to change the divine law of God?

The law is made for man. We cannot legislate law for God. The Torah, the ancient of all laws are written to guide the destinies of men and nations.

Law vs. Men

It is said according to Roman Law is “No one is above the law and the law excuses no one “

The present 1986 Philippine Constitution should not be directly assaulted by the sad or traumatic experiences of human frailty. “The law is harsh but it is the law.” The law must not be amended by those bills that undermine the truth and Preamble’s provision, “Sa ikakabuti ng lahat.”

The honorable lawmakers should not wield their legislative powers by authoring bills that discriminate “all Filipinos” at the expense of taxpayers’ hard-earned money. Would that be treason or spiritual treason?

Deuteronomy 7:3 says, “Neither shalt thou make marriages with them; thy daughter thou shalt not give unto his son, nor his daughter shalt thou take unto thy son. ”

The word “marriage” Hebrew “deuteios” i.e. second nomos or law” and “second law or “devar” refers to the Mosaic Law or Torah or popularly called, the “ Ten Commandments” which was divinely legislated by the fingers of God.

Exodus 24:12, “and I will give thee tables of stone, and a law, and commandments which I have written; that thou mayest teach them.“

In other words, the Law is intended for men (in general, lawmakers or ordinary citizen). Men does not legislate law for God. It is the same way of what Christ said concerning Sabbath which is Sabbatical Law, “

The Divine Law on Marriage and Family and any other divine law is made by God to men and not the other way around otherwise our honorable lawmakers are “playing God” themselves. The Government has no right to change or revised what the Divine Law has already put perfectly in place in the entire universe. Jesus Christ is the Lord of the Law (Matthew 12:3-8). Every first and last word of the law is Christ. He is the beginning and the end (Revelation 1:8).

Biologically linked

Man was crafted by God from the dust. Adam means dust from the Hebrew word “Adamah” or “Adam.” Meanwhile, Eve was not formed from the dust, but she is biologically linked to Adam with the breath of God” (Genesis 2:7).

Life and existence

The woman is the life and the very existence of a man. Woman is enabled by God biologically to reproduce and not man. Man gives the seed, the woman incubates the seed.

In Genesis 2:23 it says: “And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. “

The word “bone” means “essence” or “life” from the Hebrew text “etsem.” That is why the very essence (meaning) of the man is the woman. Meanwhile “flesh” literally means “self” or “person” from the Hebrew word “basar” (baw-sar).

In effect, the woman is the “alter-ego” of man. To destroy the man in the form of human legislation just like the bills I have earlier mentioned contrary to the divine law of God is self-destruction.

The woman should be side with side with man. She should never say or do anything against her man. Why? Because the woman is the “linking rib” of the woman. Rib in Genesis 2:22 means “the side” from the Hebrew word “tsela” (tsay-law). She should always be siding with the man and never to oppose the very structure of what God has made him.

In the case of SOGIE Bill, Civil Partnership (same-sex marriage), Absolute Divorce, Dissolution of Marriage, Annulment of Marriage, Recognizing the Foreign Decree of Marriage and other related bills – these are meant as DIRECT ASSAULT to GOD’S PERFECT DESIGN for man and woman, for husband and wife, against the children and to the whole family, against the Church and against Christ. I wonder again, why those bills are being spearheaded by women? Is it not woman helps a man as the Scriptures provide?

(picture3)

The divine order

The Book of Genesis provides man the divine order of social order. First the man was ordained in the image of God in Genesis 1:26 that says, “Let us make man in our image.” The work “make “ in Hebrew “asah” (aw-saw) means “to ordain.” Second, God ordained marriage for a man. In Genesis 2:23, Adam called the male-counterpart as “Woman” from the Hebrew word “ishshah” (ish-shaw) meaning, “the opposite of man” or “wife (woman married to a man).” Strong define “woman” as “one together,” in other words, inseparable. That is why Jesus Christ said in Mark 10:9, “What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.”

From the Scriptures it clearly says that the creation of the first man Adam, then creation of the woman that places marriage as the first institution, then comes the family. Meanwhile, human government in the ancient city of Babel places as the 3rd institution after marriage and family. It is mentioned in Genesis 10:10, the word “kingdom” in Hebrew “mamlakah” (mam-law-kaw) meaning, “dominion, reign or sovereignty.”

Prophet Isaiah states that “Government is upon His (Christ) shoulder,” (Isaiah 9:6-7).

Family according to Webster is defined as the basic unit of society traditionally consisting of two parents rearing their children. Meanwhile, the word “family” is first mentioned in Leviticus 20:5,

referring to “species, kind, tribe, people, nation.” That is why Article XV of the 1986 Philippine Constitution says, “The Filipino Family is the basic unit of society” which includes children. A people or a nation can be considered as such without an offspring. Therefore in a family, it will include the husband, wife and child (-ren). .

Ironically, why our present Philippine Government celebrates the National Family Week from September 23- 28 this year when the Senate aided by legislation by the virtue of the dubious bills blatantly attacks to destroy what this government is supposed to be protecting and celebrating. The 1986 Constitution, Article XV, Section 1-2 states that:

Section 1. “The State recognizes the Filipino family as the foundation of the nation. Accordingly, it shall strengthen its solidarity and actively promote its total development.”

Section 2. “Marriage, as an inviolable social institution, is the foundation of the family and shall be protected by the State.”

What our Government is protecting (the family) in conformity in National Family Week, then why the two legislative bodies of ours, the House of Representative and Senate directly assaults Marriage and Filipino Family? What our Philippines Constitution provides us? Would those bills signal an end of our human rights and civil liberties?

Section 4. No law

shall be passed

abridging the freedom

of speech, of expression, or of the press, or the right of the

people peaceably to assemble and petition the government for

redress of grievances.

Section 5. ….

No religioustest

shall be required

for the exercise of

civilor political rights.

Will these be the end of our freedom of expression and religious conviction? If marriage or matrimony and family are two institutions which is directly attacked no less by our government, the lawmakers in the particular, will this be an encroaching invasion to the religious sector and Church? Will this violate Article II, Section 6 of the Philippine Constitution that says,

““The separation of Church and State shall be inviolable. “

The word “inviolable” means “unattackable” or “unassailable.” In effect, no amount of legislation can destroy the sanctity of the Church. Those dubious bills I have mentioned should not be a fatal weapon in the invasion of the sovereignty of the Church. Jesus Christ proclaimed that already saying:

Matthew 16: 18-19

And I say also unto thee, That thou art

Peter, and upon this rock I will build

my church; and the gates

of hell shall not prevail against it.

And I will give unto thee the keys

of the kingdom of heaven: and

whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth

shall be bound in heaven: and what-

soever thou shalt loose on earth shall

be loosed in heaven..”

Is Government being “demonized” unaware in authoring and campaigning those “immoral” bills aided by legislative power fueled by the taxes of the people to annihilate God, His Word and His Church? CHRIST said this:

the gates of hell

shall not prevail against it (Church).

Senate Hearing on Divorce

September 17, 2019

10:15 a.m.

Ah, Senatora Hontiveros and Senator Dela Rosa, magandang hapon ah umaga po, I am representing Bishop Dan Balais of the Intercessors for the Philippines, at the same time representing Pangasinan IFP . Ah naririnig ko po kanina yung shinare ni Stella _______, I can truly sympathize with them, I have gone through it, I was a kid, battered child at 6, 6 I started working at the age of 6 so pinupukpok ako ng baril o kaya sinasaktan ng mga kutsilyo, martilyo. So hangang sa lumaki na ako na nagaling talaga sa broken home family, so out of 10 marriages one ang broken home family, infidelity is one of the reason, so parang takot narin ako mag asawa, but, ah, naranasan ko rin magutom, naglalakad sa kalsada na walang laman ang tiyan, eventually nakapagaral ako I became a pastor, then the Lord told me to get married. Ang sabi niya sa akin, sabi niya I will fix your marriage, sabi niyang ganon I will give you another story in terms of marriage so eventually nag asawa po ako, up to now kasal pa po naman po kami, so ang sa akin lang naman po ah, pwede pong i cite ko ito? “Once trauma or sad experiences should not be a valid ground to break the law”. Laws knows to one either it makes you or break you, so to change our fundamental law will change the constitutional law, much more if it is a moral law for the marginalize few, is a violation sa “ikakabuti ng lahat” according sa preamble kasi “lahat” eh, not among the few, so kahit na galing pa ako sa broken marriage ayaw ko po ng batas ng divorce although in the bible pwede naman, pwede naman po sa bible pero meron mga kundisyon. So kung babasahin ko lamang po itong batas po natin regarding sa marriage sabi niya ,marriage is a special contract, is a special union between ah, let me check.

Kasi po pagsinabi nating absolute divorce it is unlimited power eh, parang pati power ng constituion tsaka power ng God viniolate mo na. Somehow it wil become a historical revisionism, because kung titignan mo po ung marriage, hindi po galing sa estado eh ang marriage galing po sa Diyos at bible eh, so if you will change the etymology that is corruption of the word na, in other words kung titignan mo, marriage is not being legislated by the state, its being legislated by divine order of God, and anyone who destroys the divine order of God destroys mankind. So pag tinignan mo naman ung marriage again or family, puro siya biblical eh, I don'tknow kung sino yang author niya ng family or ng marriage siguro mga ah, mga ah, kwan lang yan 14th century, pero as far as I know the first law maker Moses, 5th century yun eh, so if you change now yung marriage para siyang, para siyang historical revisionism eh, tsaka meron nakalagay doon, “is a permanent union” eh, if it is a permanent union no law can break that, unless you change the constitution as long as nandyan yung ocnstitution you can not break the law otherwise the rule of law breaks you, me or even the lawmakers.

(picture5)

So ah sa title ko po palang tinitignan, pasensya na po kayo, so ah meron pa akong nakita dito solvent eh, ang nakalagay sa EO po permanent union hindi po ito chemical reaction, So I mean mga common sense lang ba, dissulution,so sabi niya pag tinignan mo yung dissulution wala yung dissulution ipupunta ka niya sa solvation, its a solvent its a chemical reaction, so marriage is not a chemical reaction it is an institution that is being ordained by God at nakalagay po sa Article 15, sabi niya the family is the basic unit of society, sabi niya the governement including the legislators should protect the family so once you change this you're actually opening a pandoras box to destroy not the whole family, you are destroying the whole nation, sabi ko nga unless you change the constitution. Thank you po

NOTES

Divorce

Divorce is allowed under Mosaic Law but it is only by the permissible will of God. The only ground for filing divorce is fornication and adultery. Fornication includes illicit sexual intercourse adultery, homosexuality, intercourse with animal or bestiality; sexual intercourse with closed relatives, sexual intercourse with a divorced man or woman, incest, fornication, harlotry. In the case of divorce, no divorced man or woman is allowed to remarry and have sexual intercourse as long their partner of previous marriage still lives. (Matthew 5:31-32).

Dissolution

Dissolution” is a chemical term, solvation” which means “interaction of solvent with dissolved molecules.” For a chemist like my wife, dissolution is the changing original composition. Dissolution refers to a solvent. A solvent is a substance that dissolves a solute (liquid, solid, gas, supercritical fluid)

The Filipino Family

1986 Philippine Constitution; Article XV, Section 1, 2 states that, “Section 1. “The State recognizes the Filipino family as the foundation of the nation. Accordingly, it shall strengthen its solidarity and actively promote its total development. “ Section 2. “Marriage, as an inviolable social institution, is the foundation of the family and shall be protected by the State.”

Psalm 11:3, “If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do? ”

The 1986 Philippine Constitution is foundational. The Hebrew word, “shathah” or “foundation” means “moral and political substance or basis.” Foundation according to Webster means “basic, foundational, constitutional.”

Etymology

It is the study of the history of word according New Oxford Dictionary of English (1998).

Etymology Greek word “etumología” or étumon” i.e. "true sense or sense of a truth“ according Douglas Harper. The word “logia” means "the study of“ writes Henry Liddel ad Robert Scott.
